Thanks for the content,
Hey absolutely
I just got one of these from goodwill for 20$ with line and a bobber 😂... do you think it was a good purchase? It's in excellent condition u can tell they used I like maybe a couple of times.. less than 5 than they donated it
@@ortegonadam absolutely a good purchase. It will do the job for sure. Good luck 👍
@@BoringFisherman oh man thank you so much for responding brother! 🙏 im not gonna lie, I was having second thoughts about the purchase and returns at goodwill suck a$$ 😂.. I've got a Shakespeare 5'0 rod & a zebco for my little brother... but thats my beginner gear...its just nice to upgrade my personal rod even if it's slightly 🤟💪🎣
Kippers stink. My wife won't let them in the house.
That's unfortunate I love them.
Great job Wife. She's definitely a keeper.
She absolutely is. She puts up with me!
I hate to say this but I caught a baby one and it was small and soooo cute! I am a crab lover not eater. But we had to feed the crab to the birds since we can’t put them back. Luckily we put it out of its misery before we fed it to the birds.
They actually eat really good if you do decide to eat them. The claws are the best!
I’ve been looking for a cheap budget rod for a father’s day gift and i think i might get this one. thanks for the review!
Absolutely!
That is so cool Ken!! I’ve never caught one of those!
It's my second one ever. Really cool fish.
Can’t win them all. It was a win just to catch one.
I absolutely won. We got it in the net so I win
Left handed right handed?
It switches. Can do both
You eat the skin too? What’s that taste like? Slimy?
Yup, skin too. No real difference in texture
U got your hands full with that 1. Past 3 years i bought a different boat cheap during winter, fixed it April fished it all summer then sold for a profit following spring. I just finished another one today, leaks/new motor included.
Nice! I enjoy it. This is not my first one. Thanks for watching
Coming along nicely
Thank you.
Awesome progress on the boat. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
Thank you. I'm looking forward to it as well
What is the diameter of the fuel line you’re using? Thanks
I used 3/8" fuel line in this video.
Ken, those pepperonis are killin me......... You gotta fix that!
Nah, maybe next time
Congrats on the Yamaha! To bad about the corrosion.
It is no big deal, I know how to fix it. And I knew I'd find it whenever I took the project
Looking good....keep um coming
Oh absolutely.

Ahn... Real anglers don't need windshield on there boats .. bugs are good protection.🤣🤣😄😁
It will have a windshield
Projects... Probably go mad without em.😁👍👍👍😄😄😄
when is episode #8?
After tomorrow. I have a little bit of stuff filmed for it, but I'm going to do some work to it after work tomorrow so I'll hopefully have enough footage to put together a video longer than 1:12 lmao
cool to see somebody working on an old starcraft. my grandfather bought the holiday in my profile photo from an older customer of his that took great care of it. planning to take it out again this summer. good work sir!
Thank you. I really enjoy these boats and I enjoy bringing them back from the dead too!
That's awesome! We need to quit! Did you go cold turkey? Supplements?
Cold turkey
@BoringFisherman that's awesome willpower! Envious. Keep going! You have it beat!
I do have it beat. Thanks for the words of encouragement
Glad I seen this, I was about to start rebuilding my floor...but I am breaking out the power washer again and hitting those drainage areas! Cheers and great work.
I still have a lot of cleaning to do on mine. It seems like it never ends. Good luck in your project
I don’t really like it😮
What part don't you like? How can I improve?
Nice progress
Thanks!
Every video is a huge jump forward.
As it should be
Yeah, you definitely made progress
I figure every bit helps
Keep on keeping on!!
Absolutely
You sure got a lot done Ken! 💪 Almost totally degutted.
It's getting close to being totally stripped down
I think it’s super cool too! It’s coming along great! Keep it up at this pace and you’ll be on the water this summer!
I'm sure I'm going to slow down once all the "free" work is over
Gonna need some foam from my trailer agr😂😂
Yeah I'll take 2 pallets full! Otherwise I'm going to use rigid foam board and cut it to fit.
Love the old Starcrafts, looking good.
Thank you! I'm loving every minute of this.
Coming right along. Lookin real good.
Yes, it's definitely moving fast.
Wow!! Your coming along pretty good! Thanks for the update 👍🏼👍🏼💯💯
Thanks for following along! I'm trying to document this for anyone else doing a similar project plus for my own entertainment in the future.
@@BoringFisherman your doing a awesome job! It will most definitely help someone for sure! Great idea on doing this! 💯
Nice video Ken👍
Thanks Ted. I'm having a lot of fun.
Are you going back with a wooden transom? Looking great!!
Yes, original style
Loving it! That 115 is going to be awesome. That transducer looked like the humminbirds I had on my 93 tidecraft. No telling!
I won't be reusing the electronics. Since my employer deals in Garmin I'll likely go with a nice Garmin unit. Same goes for the Yamaha, I work for a Yamaha dealer so that will be (I believe) my best route.
Making Progress!!!
Been every day this week so far!
Lookin good ken
Thanks! I'm having fun
Coming along nicely
I appreciate you. Thanks for watching. I'm enjoying it
Nice job taking it apart Ken! Can't wait to see what you do next.
You and me both!
Making headway fast now. Probably doesn’t seem like it to you though.
It feels like it's going pretty fast actually
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
😁👋
Awesome Ots going to be awesome build! Thanks for the update!👍🏼💯
I'll be documenting the whole project to include costs and hours when it "done" so far aside from drive time, I'm at purchase cost plus about 100 dollars and 4 hours
@@BoringFisherman That's amazing and when your done you can look back and say wow I did it!! Thanks for sharing this with us as you go along the build. 💯
Oh the spiders aren't bad lol
In the process of drilling those rivets I probably wrapped 6 spiders up on the drill. Saw at least 20 more on the splash well. Almost seems they recently had a hatch
Awesome video buddy looks amazing nice boat
Thanks dude
Sweet
Thanks
Wow, quite a project Ken
Not my first one lmao. It is quite a project. It was actually Hester's idea.
Well what do you know.......going through some of your old videos, and i found this! Looks like the boat you just got😅
It's similar. That a 71 Jupiter model and it is 16'.
