I'm legitimately about to buy a Red Head from DSP but don't want to pay a shop to change it. This was the first video that popped up, and I'm damn glad it was since it's the same product and basically same truck.

How close does the inner CV joint come to the dust seal at the center? I’ve done everything to push mine in and it’s still a half inch from seating and it has a little play.

A couple of years ago I resealed the vacuum pump and swapped out the PS pump on my 99 Ram diesel. The power steering is making a lot of noise and very very hard to turn. My question is how can you tell if it's the power steering gearbox instead of the pump?

I ended up keeping my tool cart stationary and also added the side shelf and I store my power tools and extra sockets. I have filled the top with chrome and impact 1/4 to 1/2" complete metric and I am trying now to get a complete SAE set. I only have a complete 1/4's SAE right now. I know I prob do not need that all but like most guys I just want them. LOL Thanks for sharing your setup. I just started buying Milwaukee power tools this year and I have bought a lot. I really like the M12 line but I do have 2 M18. If you are going to spend the money on a M12 high speed ratchet, check out the M12 insider ratchet. It is not cheap but it comes with a set of metric sockets, 1/4, 3/8, and a hex anvil and you can buy the 1/2" anvil for $10 so you have all 3 sizes in one ratchet and it is 350 RPM which is 50 RMP slower then the high-speed M12 but it has more power. I recently purchased one I am very very happy with it. I would suggest checking it out.

You have to open that valve all the way otherwise the media eats the valve up inside !! So open all the valves to the full pressure!!

Bad luck with those bolts man, mine came off easy with just a medium wrench. The flange however was nice and fuzed to the transfer case yolk lol...

Not my issue but subscribed none the less. I have been struggling on my 97 12 valve started off with intermittened fuel shut off solenoid issues. About 30% of the time i have to pull it up manually with a wire i tied to linkage with ignition on. The other day i was helping my brother water trees he planted. left hazzard lights on too long and drained the batteries down. didn't want to crank even with jump. moved batteries around and cleaned everything and it fired up. now the day after i have fully charged batteries and NOTHING. no crank, no click, jack shit. inspected terminals and discovered one was cracked. replaced to no avail. I'm beginning to think starter as it's about 3 years old and last one failed in a very similar way. Never had a starter go quite like the ones in these cummins. You would swear it had to be a switch (I.E. clutch position sensor). Pretty damned odd. Also found an oldssecurity system burries under the dash I never noticed. It's a micro DLR4, I don't know what all it does but I am in the process of getting rid of the damned thing to eliminate it as a possible source of issues. Anyways, good video. Brief, to the point and low on the bullshit. Just the way I like em. Keep up the good work man.
