This is scarry. You basically teach them how to be in individualist...no free play, no free imagination, no free social skills learning...everything structured and grown up...scarry

This is an environment for children under 3. Montessori absolutely allows for all of those items when done correctly. We are not seeing it in action. This is a beautiful environment. Montessori absolutely allows them to be an individual. It also allows them the skills of learning to be a part of a community. It follows brain science and allows the level of social skill building that is appropriate for each individual child. There is no other education model that looks at the whole child from birth to adulthood to the extent of Montessori. Montessori done wrong certainly can be all those things you said. Done well it is the opposite of what you said.
