Trying this today. Thanks!!!
trying this today! thank you
enjoy!
Very tasty, and very good film quality!
Looks good
Do you think Bubble Bee is the most bang for buck?
yup - still using it at every shoot
@@dqstudios for both indoors and out?
@laughingthrushmusic5269 It’s windy here so I wouldn’t trust it on a mission critical shoot - I’d use my 416 and rode blimp with fur in windy outdoor conditions
Thank you for posting this! I've been looking for a way to connect my shotgun mic to a Tentacle Track E
Great video how did you make this video?
can you compare this with ifootage shark slider nano?
I’ve never used that one, so can’t add meaningful commentary
thank you for sharing.. Valuable info in the video. I love the mic comparison. I have a question and a couple of remarks. Question: What's the battery life on the Xvive P1? Remark 1: I would recommend using a 3.5 locking connector on the cable to have that extra security on the cable Remark 2: to me it looks just a bit too bulky. since you are using such high end mics, why not use Zaxcom ZMT4? It can can transmit and record simultaneously in the USA. Now deity are offering such devices such as DXTX & DLTX
Battery life is nuts - I’ve run 4 hour interviews and been down only 1 light. I do tape up the power switch because I worry it might get switched on in transport. Thanks for the tip on the Zaxcom, will check it out but I’m still very happy with this setup.
Great review. However the best thing about your video is the scripture at the end. Funny thing, I started watching the video because I've always been interested in a slider for my professional work but the first thing that hit me was the thought, "this man knows the Lord". Something about how you carry yourself shines through. Strange how the Lord can help us identify one another even when we're not trying. Keep up the good work!
Honoured by your words my friend. Be blessed and happy shooting!
your video was very helpfull thanks:)
I love this place. Nice to learn about the people behind this masterpiece.
Thanks I'm looking this how much it cost
Unreliable is the story of my Edelkrone life.
Did I mention Edelkrone’s poor battery management? ugh
Just bought a used X100s and this video showed me more than those "is it worth in 2024?" videos. Quality is timeless! Thank you.
Can it Timelapse
Yes, through the APP
I don't know what's going on with that phantom power unit....but it is wrecking the sound quality of the 8050. If my 8050 sounded that bad I would have sent it to be checked. Have you tried & compared the difference with the zoom recorder. I would recommend the UMP III by Ambient. its a built for adding 48/12v to mics and is sonically transparent. Great video mate. As it stands the 416 wipes the floor with the 8050, But I know thats not the case as I have both those mics and they are both awesome in their on way. I would seriously take a look at that phantom unit.
Thanks for writing in. I’ll test again and see if I get better results with the zoom recorder.
i use the rode lav mics that come with the rode wireless pro. any suggestion on what to get to upgrade the lav mic that maybe isnt as much as the dpa 6060? thanks!
I’ve heard good things about the cos11D’s, but honestly the stock lavs are pretty decent. I also have sennheiser and countryman b6 and b3 lavs but prefer the dpa’s by far.
@@dqstudios I ended up going with the voice technologies vt500. I’m happy with it. This wireless boom mic is killer man. Thanks for this video!!
@ChrisFlores22 Glad you found something you like! And thanks for watching!
What focus mode would you recommend for chasing around a toddler ? Thank you!
Never need a backup on a wedding day true!!!
dude thank you for this and thank you for sharing the bible verse. It's hard to find people in our video production world who are believers and arent afraid to share that. God bless bro! Today, do you still recommend this setup or have some parts changed?
Thank you for the watching and the encouraging words! Yes: this is the setup I continue to use. Love it!
Why not RAW photos?
This is literally so perfect
Adding just the right amount of filling is the hardest part. Even just overfilling it a tiny bit will lead to the stuffing oozing out of the dumpling! Ugh!!!
I do the same thing - first dumpling is always a miss ... and so are the last ones where I'm trying to use up all the filling LOL!
👍
Great video. Hey Pelican, if you're listening, we need these cases with spinner wheels aka 4-way rollers. The next time you're in an airport look around. Everything has spinner wheels.
Great review! One question, can you do stop motion with the Toprig? For example, can you use the motor to advance the camera on the slider in tiny increments using the app?
Great question . I’m actually not sure. 🤔 Anyone else know the answer?
Love your closing thoughts from scripture!! Also, nice review and comparison. I plan on purchasing the Accsoon!
Thank you for the kind words and encouragement!
Hello there, nice video! What is the name of the mobile app with i can control it?
ZY Vega
great review ! Do you think that these kits can work perfectly form filmmaking ?
absolutely. I’m using this setup on my commercial and documentary projects
Amazing explanation!! Do you think for motorcycle shots s40 enough or too short? Thanks so much!
it’s such a personal choice on how much slide or what shots you want. It can definitely do the job, but I would suggest the s60 for more options and more parallax for push-ins.
@@dqstudios thanks much - appreciate the suggestion
watching this on an iPhone se
Wow! 😮 😅
With a normal mirrorless camera (nothing too heavy) would I be able to have a regal travel tripod for the S60 or would I need a more heavy duty tripod so it's stable?
I don’t know that particular tripod, but the s60’s length + weight + camera weight adds up quickly. A solid set of sticks is definitely needed for the best slides and less frustration on set.
Can this device be update software wise?
This was so helpful. I love it when you find someone who's not opening the box but telling you what you need to know. Have a great day! T.
Thanks for watching and the kind words! Happy sliding!
Do we have to turn off the MIC Plugin Power on the Tentacle Track E settings before connecting XLR Female to 3.5mm cable?
I do not. I do leave everything unplugged, then turn everything on, then plug everything in now.
Great video. Which metabones did you use? XL0,64 or Ultra0,71 ?
I honestly can't remember. Sorry.
Awesome! Do you think for motorcycle shots S40 is enough? Many thanks !!
Damn so a dual npf plate would give out more juice than a single vmount with a smaller package 🤔
depends on the npf batts but yup - can definitely .
Great review and great verse shared at the end. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and God Bless!
Ah the DF. The camera that proved some people have more money than brains. 😂
K480 uses 2 x AAA. Can use rechargeable and mine have lasted up to 6 months
i am trying backbutton focus for the first time. i struggle with sharp focus and am willing to try anything. these instructions to set the backbutton are clear and i was able to do it very easily following Dave's video. Now if i could achieve sharp focus this easily i would be happy:)
this fucker is SO FUCKING PHONY!!!
Very insightful
Thanks for the excellent summary and comparison!
Thank for watching!
for that whole set-up, a zoom f3 and 8050 would already suffice i guess.
lacks timecode
That’s cool!
Thanks for sharing my joy!
360p ?
haha - uploaded 4k but juuuust published so KZread is still rendering
@@dqstudios 🤣 I was to quick to watch your video... my bad lol
thank you for watching!! 🙏🙏🤘🤘😅
Jajaja @@GizmoMaxx
Sounds very interesting. Thank you for the review! May I ask you, isn't the loop function disturbing when using the Accsoon for Interview scenes? I mean the loop function works but it stops way too much - so it's only usable footage when panning from one side to the other side, right? Is it the same effect when using the edelkrone slider or is there more usability of footage when panning?
it’s the same on all my sliders: usable section is really in the middle, but it totally works because I don’t set it to the fastest speed when shooting interviews. I typically have it around half speed and on the longer lens and it works great.
@@dqstudios thank you so much for the speedy response... sounds good, maybe I have to give it a try!! :)
Hi again - I decided to test it and shot my latest youtube video with the slider constantly going side to side. it might bother some people but, with editing all my silly mistakes out, it looks good to me! you can watch it here: Zhiyun M20C Review kzread.info/dash/bejne/gHiTxMZ_fdSpdpc.html
