Anything Baldur's Gate 3 and Dragon Age related!
Hey there, welcome to my channel!
As you might've already seen, I make video game related content.
A lot of Dragon Age lore and easter eggs but also some Baldur's Gate 3, Mass Effect and general video game content!
I might also stream some of my playthroughs some time in the future.

Well I wasn't planning on using Emerik and Manfred but now I know he's voiced by Matt Mercer.... well my hands are tied.... Also a lot of voices I know in this game.
These VA's they got are solid
I wanted to be an evil, corrupt magister, but I guess that's off the table.
I don't like the custom characters, they feel so unconnected to the plot. But I do love the Dark Urge, which is my favourite origin character, because it combines the best of both worlds: You are part of the world, but can also customize your character. Really think they should have given us a few more origins like that. I could easily see a Noble origin character, or maybe a Harper, one of Jaheira's children.
I'm excited to hear Javik's VA again.
I thought it was you Lisa in the thumbnail 😁
Haha nope, that's Erika Ishii! 😄
Lucanis's gonna be trouble and I'm all here for it (he kinda sounds like zevran to me)
I'm so excited to hear all of their preformes. Veilguard just keeps getting better and better! ❤
BTW Alex Jordan is currently playing a Pen & Paper Campaign beside Ben Starr (Clive from FF16) and Doug Cockle (Geralt of Rivia) called Natural Six.
All the Rook voices seem solid but I do hope their actual line deliveries are good as well. Of all the Inquisitor voices only the British female is actually all rounded good, while the others, or give deadpan performances or overacts like they didn't had solid direction for the scenes.
Hopefully they give previews for each Rook’s voice before launch to help us decide.
I'm sure you'll be able to listen to the voices while in character creator 😊
I'm gonna use Jeff for Rook. Alex is too confident for my first run 😂 Depending on how Jeff plays it, he has a really soft quality.
I still think the voice of elgernan in that teaser sounds like Matt mercer
Sex noise, specialist class
I hope Ramon Tikaram is at least going to make a cameo as Dorian.
He has to. He is too important to be absent.
Meh
Movies love to describe the heart as being somewhere around the area of a person's left nipple, but that is actually false. The heart is in the center of the chest, not on the left. It is tilted to lean to the left in the chest because of all the major arteries that go to the left, but the muscle itself is very much in the middle. If you shoot someone on the left side of the chest, you will not hit their heart. They will absolutely die, but you will not hit the heart.
Kinda crazy that I never really registered that Solas is Ianto Jones before now, but now that the connection is made it's impossible for me to unhear. Children of Earth broke me.
Gods, I really loved Torchwood- that show is a whole damn orchard 😂
I was waiting for Steve Blum coming back.
The red on Tash's card also reminds me of the Qunari armor dlc pack lots of red cords
I love the wardens, but hate the dalish.
game will flop
Meet the fargots.. no thanks.
Jowan as a full companion would of been amazing gaining a new grey warden with him no longer using blood magic
That Veil Jumper class still confuses me. I will continue repeating this, but all the time we were told crossing the Veil is extremely dangerous because one might become possessed by demons. And this class does this easily as if there are no consequences at all
Probably requires an intense level of mental fortitude and concentration and what not
Also i just remembered that in the dlc for DA Origins, Shale went to Tevenor to see if she couldn't reverse the golem process, so is it possible that we run into her again?
It's definitely possible!
@@LisaLynnsTavern tho that does pose a few questions such as will Shale appear in Harding's personal quest to help us learn how a dwarf gains magic without a titans blessing or Nevs personal quest where we have to use investigative teamwork that leads us to Shale for some answers or clarification? Or perhaps the Necromancer's personal quest? All of this is clearly speculation of course but I'm definitely interested to see if they implemented her and weather or not she was successful in her search.
Keep in mind that 1 year prior to inquisition she was still in golem form
Dragon Age is the one franchise I will buy a console for again.
7:39 Wow. It's really look familiar
Since Taash is dual weilding axes, it could be a sign that they're bringing that ability back. We haven't been able to do it since DA: Origins.
Yeah, you're right. It's likely the hand he holds his staff with. 😏😏😏
Definitely interesting stuff! You've given me hope that magic is just becoming more widespread in general. I think that Davrin's going to be our sole Dalish companion; Bellara's looks like a very different style to me. Lucanis fascinates me, and I think Emmrich's just going to be lovely to chat with. Thaig is pronounced with a hard 't' sound, btw. You were closer than a lot of people I've heard take a crack at it, though. :)
I am falling for Neve so hard 🫠 Hoping to like her personality as well
My only issue is the hat
I would like to say in inquisition rogues had a purplish aura around their attacks so maybe that’s what it is for Harding this early in the game because I think Harding getting magic is going to be something we see first hand instead of it just happening off screen between games but it could be wrong.
That's fair!
We men likes women, There's no pretty beautiful female companion, Only the character we create!!!
??? I think that Neve is actually kinda hot. Beautiful, elegant facial features, slender and graceful body. Or is it the fact that she is missing a leg that is bothering you? Bellara on the other hand is a cutie, more the girlish type of a woman. But still absolutely attractive. But what do I know... beeing a woman interrested in men, so far I'd go for Emmerich. Based on looks alone. Let's see who I'll actually like best in the game 😊
@@inoel75 as a dude I agree with you. Neve seems to be intelligent and posh and divine. Kinda viviane without the bitchy attitude. Shes very hot 😂 idk what this dude is talking about
I agree, even though I'm a woman. But the men aren't any better, except for maybe Lucanis, who remind me a bit of Duncan. Emmrich is just too old and looks very la-di-da and arrogant.
@@gegamst7323 you can't say that mrs, Bioware pleasures females with intense characters like Alistair on DA Origins, Fenris is popular among girls, Finally Cullen the dream of girls from DA inquisition.
No comment on how Taash is female, so should not be a warrior. Since she is, she must be Tal'vashoth?
Female qunari can in fact be warriors
@@wintertrooper7918 No. Qunari are assigned jobs by gender. Men fight. Women do administrative management and farm, for example. Women will only fight if they absolutely have to (like to protect themselves and their farms). Though I did find a loophole, which is to be trans by the terms of the Qunari. Which basically means insisting on doing the wrong job. Qunari apparently accept trans people, but their definition is different than ours. So you can be a trans man who fights, but you cannot be a trans man who farms.
@@jenniferhanses no it's basically that any woman that is assigned as a warrior is treated as a man regardless
@@wintertrooper7918 No woman would be assigned as a warrior. It's considered a waste of resources under the Qun. Because no matter how talented a woman may be, a man will always be better. Better to find out what else the woman is talented at, and assign her to that category. The Qunari do have the concept of Aqun-Athlok, which is born as one gender and living as another. They are transgender. They are no longer your average, everyday Qunari. So you can be a woman and farm. You can be a trans man and be a warrior. You cannot be a trans man and farm because farming is a woman's job. Or you can become Tal'Vashoth and it doesn't matter because you're not living under the Qun. I mean, the Qun is basically like the Bible. You don't have to be of the Qunari species and follow the Qun. You won't actually be Qunari if you don't, since that means follower of the Qun, but you can do that. And you become Tal'Vashoth. The Qunari essentially live in a communist theocracy. Which is really interesting. But one of the things you do in a theocracy is believe in a certain religion and follow its tenets. The Qun assigns jobs for the good of its people based on their gender. That's really the end of the story there. And they've said that since pretty much the beginning.
@jenniferhanses again any woman assigned as a warrior is considered a man under the Qun
The ones that hold my interest the most at the moment are Harding, Neve and Bellara.
Again I ask why is Bellara Asian. I know there are other continents in Dragon Age so is Bellara an elf from one?
tevinter is literally south asian inspired though? and it's not like she's the first east asian character we've met
@@Zee-iv9oe I've not read the comics but Tevinter from the games is clearly based off the Roman Empire in its decline period and the beginning of the Holy Roman Empire. And yes to my knowledge from the games, the main source material, Bellara is the first Far East Asia inspired character, everyone else is either European, Middle Eastern or Northern African. Ferelden is clearly England during the Danelaw period, Orlais-France, Antiva-Italy, Anderfels-Germany/Prussia, Nevarra-Spain, The Free Marches are a mix of all, Rivain is North-West Africa, and the Qun was based of Islam and The Middle Eastern cultures with the Dalish being inspired by Eastern European and Jewish Culture. The Avvar were based of the Norse and the Chasind off the Celts.
@@Shadowpack95 this is what annoys me the most. People will write me off as being racist, but I'm really not. I dont mind a character being black, Asian, white, Hispanic or what ever else. But it should make sense in the lore of the world. If they give Bellara a reason for being asian, then that's fine. If they've just shoe horned an Asian person in for the sake of diversity. (An elven Asian to boot, so harder to explain.) Then that's not ok.
@@MammothMorals I fully agree, if their is a lore reason, even one that isn't the best I will be ok with this.
@MammothMorals keep in mind elves once ruled over like all of THEDAS
Lucanis could be experiencing the same phenomenon that the Spirit Warrior class did.
Here are my companion teams in the 4 walkthroughs once I play Veilguard on my PS5. Denji or Alphen the Elven Rook Warrior: Harding and Emmerich Sophitia or Beatrix the Dwarven Rook Rogue: Darvin and Neve Touka or Shizuka the Human Rook Mage: Lucanis and Taash Goliath or Kongol the Qunari Rook Warrior: Bellara and Emmerich
I know Hardin as I loved going to a new area and meeting her in DAI. I have a feeling me and Nevah may clash, while Tash could end up been my favorite.
also Davrins tarot card reminds me of the story wynne told about the grey wardens flying on their griffins alongside the son. the battle that always happens but never did
I'm looking forward to romancing Harding as a Dwarf character!
my theory for neve is that she is a decendant of one of the magisters from the cult fo corypheous.
Perhaps
Will there be blood mage again? It was my favourite mage in origins ❤
it's confirmed rook cannot be a blood amge
Prachtige presentatie!
I'm not gonna talk about the custom character - continues to talk about the custom character. I really wanna talk about the dark urge, but I can't.
