Bought mine back in 2016, still using it in 2024. Great Tpt for me as an old Soldier with dicky leg. Highly recommend it to anyone. I ride it 75km round trip weekly plus around town shopping and days out. All in all a Fab piece of Engineering

Love cruiser looks and this seems reasonable running cost wise. Im thinking of a bike for odd trip to coast etc just for fun and maybe later do some touring. Was looking at fjr1300 but this just looks and sounds cool, Ive had a virago 535 and really enjoyed it but ultimately found it a bit lacking in power and range and was hard work on motorways ... Reliable cheap motoring is important to me so a Harley is not really ideal....

Bigger wheels makes a massive difference. Much more nimble, soaks up the bumps and climbs kerbs better and you feel like youre riding a proper bike.

i love my 2019 zx14r abs se. i started riding streetbikes around 1991 when i was 20 years old. ive owned 10 bikes with the zx14r being my current one for the last few years. it still scares the crud out of me. ive made it faster and more comfortable. 1" bar risers, rear lowered slightly, touring windshield, billet levers, center stand, K&N air filter, Delkevic exhaust and a MOORE MAFIA tuned ECU which also removes the top speed limiter.

Under the radar for most, I reckon - busy thinking about a Thruxton/ Bonnie perhaps? The true Hinkley Rocker bike, possibly - Underdog.

The hardest part is finding insurance. I'm 31 with 8 years no claims and no one will insure a road legal pit bike. Also don't buy from Welsh Pit Bikes. The owner is a bellend and won't sign a certificate of newness sometimes.

So the tank capacity is 14L, hp with the catalysator 73hp, without 77hp. Nice bike, just bought same, only difference I got black wheels. Will do the same breathing aid. And going Michelin tires. Probably gearing it down for easier urban driving.

I have the same bike with about 51 k kilometers , never had a major problem with it except the local dealers who keep sabotaging it on purpose. Must be a Canadian thing .. they don't want any customers from other dealerships . hu greedy lot. Otherwise it the best motor bike I have ever owned .

Thanks for the review, I've always done a double take as these aren't that common where I live. Having had 125cc scooters that seem to attract the wrong sort of attention I have been wondering if this would stop the local pond life wanting to steal it? 🤔

Very good review. I used to have an MT-01. I always wanted one of these, as well. Very stylish. I like singles. In the '80s, I did England to Portugal return three times, and Greece return once on a Yamaha XT500E. You can tour on singles. Everyone did in those days.

yup leaving the want to be in the mirrors is very easy. Did that do a group of corvette, mustang and camaros .... poof. And just made a 300 SRT cry. They just have no idea of the astounding power.... 200kms and it is just ready to peal off your face.
