Heloc- home equity line of credit. It's a credit card with your house as collateral. I'm not a huge fan of them for the average person because it gets used for vacations and buying stuff you can't afford. Some savy people can use them to purchase other properties or take advantage of investment opportunities when they dont have the cash on hand

1. Mortagae is a French word meaning "Death Pledge" 2. Interest is a debt made up where no money exists to pay it. When money is printed it comes with a debt attached and then you get inflation or devalue in money when more money is printed to pay off the interest on the last money printed. It's a nasty cycle I like to call "Debt Slavery" 5. Inflation - It's not that the value of your home you bought for 200k went up to become the million you sold it for. It's because the value or purchasing power of your dollar has gone down . Caused by printing more money to pay off the old and create new government debt...

When I was a little girl wanting to learn the Investing game Donald Trump was the biggest advertised REI. I read the Art of the Deal and he promoted time is money. I saw something where people broke down wealth and how much money the ultra wealthy make per second. That was life changing for me.
