I own and run a 2004 XKR in California Red out here in Dubai. I still get people posing and taking pictures of it all the time. Need to change battery once a year as the heat kills them out here. Thats why no EV's sell out here.
I'm so glad I didn't buy off Cazoo and stuck with a main dealer as I've done for the ladt 40 years. Really feel sorry for the people that did mind 😢
Cheap classic for someone - and sold for a decent amount
in my 37 years in the trade loads of big companies have tried to “change the way cars are sold”. Virgin and Tesco to name just two. Big problem…small margins and too much risk of buy back (if you don’t know how to avoid). Hybrid selling is the only way to go to market IF you want to go national. Or, if you’re small concentrate on doing your local area vey well. I won’t say RIP Cazoo!
Hi Joe, really enjoy your videos. Very entertaining! I'm local to you, Bridgwater (yes, I'm outraged at Toby's spelling). I work with Kim at AIP Welding Supplies in Colley Lane. I mentioned I had seen your videos and he said 'Oh, I know Joe, he's a great guy!' If you need any welding supplies give us a shout. The Jag cleaned up well! I'm glad you gave it a chance. Keep up the good work! 😁
Swallow's is not that far away is it? Eine kleine Nachtmusik more like, La Gazza Ladra The Thieving Magpie
Handbrake slack suggest rear calipers are sticking on.
A frustrating pain in the arse for you, but a really good watch. She got off lightly with those deductions.
Tax is same as my 07 Hyundai Coupe auto lol, lovely jaaag there joe done well there, one of the best looking cars made
poor toby being identified as a potential petrol thief
Lovin it all 👌👌👌👌
Tops vid
Going once, going twice, going third time..Sold!!! To the man in the tweed jacket, smoking a pipe👍 that has a wiff of pee about him😂👍
What a beauty. Long may she waft along.
But the exhaust is bodged instead of being fixed 😳
Cat converters rot out on these , massive job to replace them and not cheap, common fault
The seller could have got more putting it into a classic car mag or auction rather than a general sale at BCA.
The dent is part of the patina on a 20 year old vehicle. Less dents on it than my 10 year old VW LOL.
It's not supposed to be 'sporty', there's not a hint of sportiness implied or intended.
what a nice car but rather prefer german lol.😄
How did it pass its last MOT with a hole in the exhaust like that ?
Kindest regards! Sunshine Coast,BC 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Love that car
Your valetings clearly better than your decorating 😂👏👏👏👏👏👍 nice motor
😂😂
Watch out Matt Joe is coming!!! with content like this it wont be too long.
Haha, thanks. I don’t think he has much to worry about, he’s far more refined and knowledgeable than I’ll ever be! 😂
Looks pretty nice, and not rotten underneath which is the main thing. Be a good car for someone to smarten up and do some weekend tinkering.
Just missing a Cigar 😂 Keep buying old performance cars 😎
Should’ve asked him how he manages the stress of motor trading…
Who is Sophie?
My girlfriend
Was a failed timing chain tensioner on one I had 25 years ago, (2 yr old convertible) misfired on tickover. at 4 years old, £400 to fix. Power steering leaked too. Loved it, kept it for 8 years.
I would love this car
your videos are great, i haven't seen something like that for really long time🐰
I think you bought a money pit
Nearly doubled my money on it so it wasn’t all that bad 😅
Very lucky
Code no longer works for the 20% discount just tried it. Would have thought it would still work only been 7 days since the video went up
I don’t make the discounts mate, I’m just letting people know about them when they’re available 🤷♂️
Its a dog
A Jaguar is technically a cat but both are furry with 4 legs so can see why’s you’d get confused 😉And this car made me £1700 so it pays to not be so negative all the time
If it was a dog it would be called Rover
i think it's the best video i've ever seen, pls make them longer🤪🤪🤪
You’ll have the Bridgwater lads kicking off spelling it Bridgewater
That was Toby, bless him, he’s not local! 😂
Seems a decent old car - although it will always be one bill away from scrap at that value. Still - a cheap way to get into classic Jaguars.
Must have been on something to buy that lol 😮😂
Glad you own the place or your gaffer would be testing your urine. Hopefully I’m chatting kaka . Good luck to you.
If it was an engine misfire, it would, most likely, fail an MOT, due to emissions.
Yes it would fail an mot if it had a misfire due to the emissions
They probably filled the hole in the exhaust with repair putty to get it through the MOT then it fell it again causing the same leak
Lovely jaggggggg ❤
your vids are really fantastic, i haven't seen smth like that for a long time🥭
That Jag was used as a TV set car and used on sets such as Emmerdale & Hollyoaks
Really? How’d you know that?
@@ShiftingMetal Might be fan of Emmerdale & Hollyoaks. 🤔
@@JustAlanJohn Or someone looked up the plate? Maybe there is a fan site that tracks that sort of thing....
I would love one of these... Beautiful design!
After 5 mins I thought that jag going to end up in the farm👍
Cazoo was always based on total BS , us old school dealers knew this but a lot of people fell for it !!
When you say you have to pay the VAT on it, is that not a bit of a misnomer, I thought you were able to claim the VAT back or is that incorrect ?
No, I can’t claim it back, if I could we wouldn’t pay it in the first place. Dealers have to pay 16.67% on the margin between purchase and sale price but can claim back the vat on expenses
Probably got a log book loan on it
Jesus look at the state of them wheels shouldn’t be allowed to return it crazy
