Loved the zoom lens part. I was looking at the 35-150 as well but I'm scared it might be too bulky of a setup. How bad is it? Do you usually take it everywhere with you?
@FlorianFrickel12 минут бұрын
Let’s be realistic it’s a huge-ish and kinda heavy lens but having the availability and flexibility is great. The lens closes fairly close down to the aperture of f2.8,however I personally use it a lot at f2.8 so I don’t need to worry about the aperture. Unless I shoot 35mm@f2. Personally I think you get quick used to the size and weight. I do got another video on this lens might be of interest for you kzread.info/dash/bejne/m2aK3LyAoJDAfto.htmlsi=EmLgFM7LMH8b6N-B

I had this camera many years ago, I had a Canon 80d and a Fuji x100f. I much preferred shooting with the Rx100, the Sony menus were so easy to use and you could create very easy shots incredibly quickly. The Manual shooting mode low aperture for portraits made this a joy to use. I’m sad I got rid of it. You make very good points, good video 👍🏼😊

I have this camera, and use it very regularly for travel and as a pocket camera since getting it in 2022 (10 years after release!). My main camera is a Pentax K-5, and although that is compact by DSLR standards, the RX100 works very well when I'm not able to carry that. I find myself often surprised by the image quality - many of my favourite pictures were taken on this. It has a very usable range, and despite the lack of physical controls, once you get used to it, the RX100 can function very much as a 'real' camera as opposed to a simplified point & shoot or a mobile camera. A grip came in very handy as well, and is still very pocketable.
