  So is the extra fee to park your car a Portland thing? I've never been charged extra just to park my car in my city/state.

  In the downtown/Pearl/slabtown area, yes it is. Further away in Southeast Portland, less likely. Some Apartments will build their own garage which is more convenient and considerably safer for your vehicle. For this reason, there's a fee. Other Apartments don't even have a garage so your vehicle is left in the hands of off-street parking, break-ins etc. Once you leave the city limits & less dense areas, parking is ofcourse free. Like the typical Apartments that have open parking lots outside.

  Use the car key to pry open the tank while someone is holding the lever for the gas tank worked for me but need to get that checked out first time happening

  @@chocolateearrings well I find that the black cord that goes to the trunk latch is still intact with the assembly. It doesn’t look broken. So I’m pretty sure it’s the trunk latch but I can’t even get in the trunk. Any advice ?

  @@alexanderlopez-zacarias3848You need to put down back seats and crawl in. There is a latch release in the trunk frame. There are videos on it.

  @alexanderlopez-zacarias3848 I'm not entirely sure what else to you can do other than keep searching for videos on it. In my case, the assembly was damaged which led to the ill-fitted cord. Sorry this happened, and hope it works out

  your supposed to slide that gap in the cable .. near the white collar into the handle housing. not pull on it and push it behind the handle housing. there should be no tension when cable is at rest. over time with the way you did it the cable will become stretched.

  Noted! Thank you, I'll keep that in mind and take a second look. Please note that my case assembly was actually damaged/broken and could not hold the cable in place that's why I had to manually put tension. Thanks again.

  I'm not sure! If it uses the same Cord design, then you can try it! It should be a similar technique.

  You can shorten that cord if there’s not enough tension. Seems to me that’s not a temp fix but a permanent one.

  Oh I see. Well this was because the plastic part of the assembly that holds the cord in securely got damaged without my knowledge. So the only way I could access the fuel door is using this method. I struggled to find a solution online at the time of making this.
