can you suggest any book about ready to wear pattern drafting 😊
Hi! I think a few of these would help you with that for sure!
Thank you for another informative video. Always a pleasure from Ontario, Canada
Thank you for watching Elizabeth! ❤️🤗
hi Ana, it's nice to listen to you. I would like to copy my garments once in a while and not buying a new pattern again. I might give it a try (if I find the time...) Greeting from Holanda
Thank you Ligia! You can watch the first video for this tutorial where I show all the steps as well as the blog posts with lots of info and pics. Let me know how it goes if you give it a go :)
How are you going with the machine now?Do you still like it?
Yes! I have actually done a new review on the blog: www.cocowawacrafts.com/blogs/learn-to-quilt/review-of-my-pfaff-quilt-ambition-630
What is the rubber you lay down Ana?
Do you mean the white foam layer? You can also find info of all materials on the blog, there is a link on the description box 😍
Thankyou so much Ana! That was great!

You are so kind 🥹😍 thank you for your support and for watching the video ❤
Such a great video, clearly explaining how anxiety effects people and what you can do to help yourself. By sharing your journey you will be helping so many people. What an amazing business you have built up despite all the challenges you have faced, including the pandemic moving countries etc ❤ We miss you here in London and I hope to see you soon Klarke x
You are so kind and sweet Klarke. Thank you for your words ❤️ I hope you are well. I miss you all as well.
Bless you for sharing your experience Ana.. It will help many people I'm sure 🙏. I'm so glad that you have a good handle of your anxiety now. I always say to my friend who has it.. that it's just a feeling and it will pass...I hope it helps her. To have done the things that you have achieved in your sewing and business and on you tube, while experiencing all this is amazing Ana.. You should be very proud of yourself 🙏👏. Your hair looks very pretty and the short cut really suits you by the way 👌💇. There is definitely no shame in taking medication and it helps so many people and it has advanced so much over the years 🙏. I look forward to your next vlog and seeing what you create... You have amazing talent 💖🤗🥰😘

@@laurahaines6110 that's good Laura! I also treasure my time in London ❤️ Big hug and take care Laura
@@CocoWawaCrafts you too, Ana! xx
Love all your projects! So great to see your video.
Thank you!! 🤗❤️
You can make it with one piece.
Thank you for this tutorial! I got your pattern from Mollie Makes a few years ago and I'm finally going to make it :) This video helps a lot!
So glad to hear that! 🤗
I love these tutorials
Thank you Cindy.
Please make all your patterns in a larger size range
I wish I could right now Cindy but it is a huge financial undertaking. Hopefully in the near future. For now I am focused on quilting patterns. Thank you for your understanding.
You're adorable. Keep up the good work.
Thank you.
The coat and jacket are lovely, but i wish you tried them on just so that viewers can see what it looks like on. Also it gives viewers an idea as to whether the style suits them or not.
Thanks for the comment Kaz. You can also go to the website and see how it looks on testers and on social media to get a better idea 🤗
How can we get Winifred Aldrich book in Nigeria?
I am sorry, I have no idea :(
I am from London (my Husband is of Spanish parentage) and we spent 15 years living in Sevilla. It's much smaller than London or Madrid and you can walk everywhere. I think it has a similar feel to Amsterdam which you liked. p.s I can't believe you are nearly 40. I had to re-listen to that part twice because I thought I was hearing things. LOL
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ I think Sevilla is beautiful but would never be able to tolerate the summers there 😮💨
Genius
Hope there's a sewing tutorial for your new quilt pattern? Looking forward to the pattern
Hi Emmzie! Not about the step-by-step of the quilt here on KZread as they are very costly to make by myself. But there will be blog posts with plenty of info and some reels on social media :) Also the instructions are, I think, pretty great! and I am here to answer any questions that people my have :)
The quilt pattern is very pretty. I would like videos of quilt shows and fabric stores.
Thanks Xochitl! Will have that in mind :)
Can’t wait to see the quilt! Those fabrics are lovely 😍 I like chatty videos like this, and would love to see you out and about at fabrics shops
Thanks Romy! Written all those ideas now :)
I just bought a 620. I agree with everything you said. It was amazing to hear you express my thoughts so exactly! I possibly disagree about the threader, as I have had worse! Overall, the machine is worth it for the IDT and the numerous feet available to use with it. I upgraded from a Singer C240, basically a Passport 2.0 clone. In some ways the Passport actually sews better. I have yet to figure that one out. The reverse didn't seem to act the same on it but still different from my other machines. The cutter was the main reason for the upgrade. I found slightly thicker thread can clog it up. That is disappointing. In general, I think my Janomes are better made, but that IDT is so much better than their Acufeed solution. Enjoy your machine.
That's good to hear Lucinda! The reverse stitch is a bit annoying to me when you have had it pressed and it takes a couple of stitches to come forward. Overall is a great machine, but it is expensive nevertheless. Enjoy your 620 and thanks for comenting :)
Wonderful
And Pfaff ambition 640? What's your opinion? Do you recommend it?
Hi Elena. I don't have that model so I would not be able to say. Sorry!
Madrid has the most amazing fabric shops though!! We were there in 2019 and loved it. And it’s easy to make trips out of the city.
I can't agree sorry 😮💨 Not very nice fabrics. I prefer much more fabric shops online elsewhere in Spain and the traffic is horrendous 😐
I know this is an old post, but just made this for my daughter. Thank you from an advanced beginner seamstress.
Oh! This makes me really happy. I am glad it helped you 🥰
Beautiful!
Thank you!
What I heard you say. What brings you joy is nature and hiking and you want a dog… no wonder a wrap dress doesn’t bring you joy. Maybe a hiking outfit pattern will bring you joy !! A lot of people since the pandemic have rediscovered nature but clothing options have not caught up. Something to consider.
Thanks Christa!!
Powerful post. Don’t quit just find a new angle ! People LOVE your patterns !! Something good will come !!
Love your quilts! You’re extremely creative and precise in your quilting.
You are too kind! Thank you so much :)
Sorry to hear about all those difficulties. I had no idea. I'm sending best wishes to you and you family. Please, could you make a video showing all your patterns and products? I would love to see everything. I'm a big fan! Try to keep up your spirits. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Celera. Thank you for your reply. You can find lots of videos on my channel talking in detail about all the patterns 🤗 I hope that is useful.
You are so blessed to be able to have all these choices! Finding happiness is always in your heart.
thank you
Lovely seeing you Ana, but so sorry that you have been having a tough time. I am self employed too and it is a really worrying time, and I haven't moved to a different country in amongst that! Sending love and hugs to Madrid! X
Thank you so much for your kind words. Being self-employed is so tough in general and even more now. I hope things go well for you. Big, big hug
🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗
Nice to see you back as part of the community. I'm struggling with Insta where I found my sewing people as it's changed so much the way I can access/see things/people, so I understand why it must be even harder for you as a business person trying to make the best of it. I do hope you can keep CocoWawa going - I do have some of your patterns and always look out for new ones. Good luck in your new Spanish life and in finding a home...
Thank you so much for your kind words and for your support ❤️ I hope so too and I totally get what you mean about the community. It has changed so much. Big hug
I'm sorry you've been having a tough time recently but I'm sure things will start to look up once you find a nice place to settle. I know it's not the area of Spain where you've been looking, but I can highly recommend the Valencia area (where I live). Lovely Mediterranean sun and beaches as well as mountains and orange groves. Mucho ánimo, Ana!!! ❤
Thank you Grace 🤗 You are very kind and Valencia is really nice indeed ❤️
Tienes unos patrones increíbles, unas redes sociales que para mí son muy amenas y me gusta mucho todo lo que haces. Mucha suerte para encontrar tu camino en España. Yo vivo en Cantabria y te lo recomiendo! Un fuerte abrazo
Mil gracias Sara. Me ayudan mucho tus palabras.
@@sarahernandez8194 No me extraña Sara. Me alegra que seáis felices allí :)
Ana, why don’t you open an Etsy shop selling garments, something simple like tunics, A line or round skirts, wrap dresses, capes and so on? Anything where there’s not much fitting so you shouldn’t worry too much about returns…
Thank you for your suggestion :) That would be even more challenging and the competition is fierce in retail. I want to stick to teaching and patchwork / quilting patterns for now :)
I’m sorry you and your partner have gone through so many challenges. I have several of your patterns and love them. I live in the US and yes, quilting is huge here. There is always space for new artists, vision and perspective in the quilting and sewing community. I look forward to seeing your quilt designs! Sending positive and comforting thoughts❤️
Thank you so so much for your kind words. Your support means a lot. Big hug and thank you for your support :)
Part two- I have a garment sewing group of friends and a quilting group of friends. Go for it! There's a whole new group of young people interested in quilting!
Thanks Jodie!!
