It's better to see the flowers than the person talking.
Thanks for sharing. I am going to start my channel soon
Thank you so much! This helps me plan well!
Wow so beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much for this video of your gorgeous Zinnias. It was really helpful to see a comparison as I am trying to decide which varieties to give more space in my garden. I have grown the peppermint Zinnias in the past and they looked stunning for me. This year I am growing both Benary’s and Oklahoma as well as the Zinderella, which I never grew before. 🤞🌸❤️
As a 29 year old welder with 40 years of experience i can definitely say these are definitely some of the welds of all time.
So cottage cute! 😍
Excited for you. I lived in North Carolina for a couple of years (20 years ago) and loved it. Sounds like a lot of work with the back and forth this year 😂
KZread hadn’t been showing me your videos lately so I am going to to have to find your ‘we are moving’ video. Sounds like big news
Thank you for sharing your #flowerfarm #Gardening #TipsTricks ! Cheers 🤍 Jess x
Beautiful flowers 💐
Absolutely essential - these sell as single bunches too 🎉🎉
you will regret letting it grow. The roots will gain so much strength and you will be fighting it everywhere as it takes off underground.
Helpful video, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
We are also a U pick flower farm channel 👋 We launched in January and have been documenting our start up. Thank you for sharing your story too 💐💖

@@hortonsflowerfarm5098 that'd be so cool!
How lovely! Best wishes
thank you
I'm growing zinnias in pots and they're amazing.
awesome!
Its a beautiful farm. You are very skilled at care for those flowers
So nice of you :)
Hi - what is the size of the pot?
Thank you ❤
If your tree is purchased in a pot and it has been outside, you can plant it anytime that the ground is not frozen.
thank you, good to know :)
That's a lot of bad math.
Did it work?
Wondering the same thing!
Do you mind me asking how you find so many helpers. Also, are you having the helpers weed the hole and add compost and fertilizer to each hole as they plant the plugs?
I pay them $15 per tray they plant, plus they receive a $30 gift card to come back to the farm. I also served them free lunch! lol They are adding compost but no fertilizer. We pre weeded the holes before to make it easier for them. They plants will be fertilized once a week once they are in the ground
That's a fantastic tip for gardeners! I'll definitely try that in my own garden.😃😘
Location is usually key how close are you to the city that might be well populated and how far do people have to travel The types of advertising you might not be that beneficial promoting your business is a good idea and you can actually let florist in the area now because there might be something that they're looking for that they cannot acquire something that is grown locally so it has a longer life span And I would learn some forestry if you haven't yet things like corsages and boutonnieres and grow the flowers that are predominant used for that I'm not everyone chooses to go their traditional route Like spray roses babies breath Variety of roses as you mentioned for those who want to DIY their wedding flowers or they might have a friend who's very good with arranging flowers who might be assisting them could even be a family member I don't really think wholesale is profitable to be honest with you and I would keep that because you're going to make more money if you're selling direct to the public what you can do is you can personally cut a specific amount of flowers that you take to a farmers market and offer them buckets for sale and if you know how to arrange bouquets you can also do that on the spot when I mentioned promotions you could have an Instagram account where you are constantly offering pictures of the ingredients that you're offering and you can also do a raffle where some lucky person is drawn from a group of submissions It also offer a slight discount for people who come as a group or a party And put those advertisements out to the schools and the administration offices there colleges the high school Like cultural classes might wish to do a field trip And maybe don't know that isn't possible because they're not aware of your existence you could also give classes which is why I mentioned the corsages in the boutonnieres because if you learn how to make them then you'll be able to teach class where you have a group of people who are possibly coming upon prom season and they want to make their own and you can charge a certain amount of money per person they can freshly cut flowers And you can create a package around all of the items that they would need and provide those things this is building community and that's really what you want to do those people are all going to go tell their family and friends and maybe even people they meet along their way might mention need for something of that nature You can also do you can appeal to those who are having their own flower farm by sharing the things that you have learned like you're doing here on your channel which will also eventually be profitable if it isn't already And I also think that that was probably not a good idea but if people can't come to the flower farm or not as much traffic as you would like don't let that stop you Bring the flowers to them Here is a flower farmer in Quebec who is appealing to wedding designers planners and local florist as well as some large grocery chains and I have heard this from other flower farmers I know this information will be extremely helpful to you because it won't spark ideas kzread.info/dash/bejne/nXyDyLibp7bIZbw.htmlsi=-kjC0I5Z3FZ8oZ3O
I never knew goldenrod came in other colors! Beautiful
I know me either. When I saw there were other options I was so excited to try them!
May year 4 be the best year ever so far🌻
Thank you so much :)
My friend who works at a greenhouse told me about Limon. I started some from seed this year.. only had 8 germinate but I am excited for it as well!!
I know some of these seeds are so hard to grow if you dont have the perfect conditions.
Beautiful zinnia row. Just wow! 😱 “Thumbelina” are my favorite zinnia heirlooms.
Great video! How far did you plant your flowers apart? Started my first flower garden this year. I am so excited so see how they turn out!
Name of the sun flower?
The arrangement is absolutely beautiful and what a great idea to put it in the watering can. Perfect.
Very helpful - thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks for the tip! Love your content!
Thanks for watching!
Welcome to NC!! 🌻
