I can muscle up with 15kg on the Rings but cannot on the straight bar I would say straight bar muscle up is harder but maybe it's a personal thing

I usually do some harder variation first and then immediately after failure the easier one. Example decline push up and incline push up together is one set. Next set could be push up with rings and push up on the ground using some blocks to get little elavation which will stretch the chest more. I did this same method when doing pulling exercises. I was stuck at 3-5 pull ups and no matter what I tried I didn't get more repetitions. So I focused on more doing chin ups to build strength. I also did pull ups and immediately after failure rows to get more repetitions per set. It worked and withing some months I was able to get eight reps per set.

looks like a great finisher this one, hard to overload with it alone but excellent on a fatigued muscle keeping it contracted all the time and stretching the whole chest at the bottom. already looking like a better option to me at least than the slow push ups or even decline push ups, my arms die out well in advance

I believe that seeing a doctor is the best tip I can give you. Also when and for how long have your lower traps been hurting?
