    Is it the first high pitch squeal or the second screech when your letting off , my truck is giving the deeper squeal when I let off , but the manifolds are still in tact with no broken studs , turbo is still good I’m curious what can cause the second squeal when letting off

    What is that hose / pipe called ? What is the part ?

  • @jasonschaeffer72
    @jasonschaeffer725 ай бұрын

    I did my 17 F350 6.7 dually a little different. I left the cooler on and welded a plug in the 2 pipes to block them off. The dpf I gutted and run ran a straight pipe inside and reinstalled. It is deleted but still LOOKS 👀Factory. Which helps when the 5.0 is inspecting your truck. As long as they see dpf they don't look any further. I travel a lot with my 5th wheel rv and some states will check if it is deleted. I call them my sneaky pipes 😂😂 Oh yeah. Great video 👍💯

  • @jasonschaeffer72
    @jasonschaeffer724 ай бұрын

    I probably should have done a video when I did it. I could do one now but all you are going to see 👀 is a STOCK Truck. You can not tell visually that anything has been done. The DPF I removed the heatsheilds. Cut in half. Cleaned it out. Measured and installed pipe and welded it back together. Reinstalled heatsheilds. Installed delete tuner. Runs like a beast and no smoke.

    Wait wait wait. Youre clowning the tech but dont realize you can just use one of the other bolts to see if the threads are stripped? Also if multiple holes are being stripped while pulling the the bolts out are you sure its not a manufacturing problem and not a tech problem

  • @TorchedTv

    Let me address u. Your biggest mistake was saying a bought it from the stealership. The second mistake is one fuel injector was replaced why not all for its service interval. Third if u are gonna end up buying cars to take to a mechanic maybe u should not be in the buying cars business this all should of been address at the dealer for selling u something that probably needs a whole engine rebuild. Nobody sells their shit cause life is going good. And we mechanics are tired of u DIY bringing ur car to us after u can’t fix it or put it back. If u dot. Know what u are looking at or how to fix it but it brand new 0 miles that’s the solution then u just deal with the shitty ass quality control. Ur a grown man learn how to make ur own decisions nah u here playing victim after the dealer shoved it in with no oil or spit.

    Tell me why a 1989/1993 dodge pickups with a diesel engine are 10k an up? Supply and demand my friend, this is such a gross generalization. Honestly anything made in the last 20 years is garbage to me, and the older stuff is gold.

    Great news, the super small threads on those bolts strip out super easy. Chances are you’re going to need to drill and tap that hole, I recommend a time-sert kit. I had to do 11 of them on mine, leaked like a sieve lol. Lucky you’re on driver side, passenger side gets spicy, removing the climate control box and such
