Budget Nomad is a vlogging channel that is dedicated to cheap adventure backpacking and travelling.
Hello, I'm Richard, the person behind Born Traveller, I've been travelling and backpacking for the last 10 years. I've been to 6 of the 7 continents and now I'm heading off on another on 29th August 2018 starting in Kyrgyzstan.
I believe it doesn't matter where you are from, what age you are, gender or religion, we are all the same at heart. Anyone can travel and have the life they want...

Great information. Thank you please keep it up.
Thanks, will do!
I would be very careful in Turkey, Rhodes, Malta... We stayed last year for 7 nights in Alanya but we would never travel there again. It is very beautiful but the tourists are easy targets for criminals. We walked and sit down in a little park behind Cleopatra Melissa Hotel and while our little one was playing on the swing, there were some local men there on a bench. They looked really suspicious and started whispering among them, trying to look like they were normal but all our intuition alarms started. We took our daughter and went back to the hotel. Then the fact that so many tourists die in Alanya is pretty strange. You have the case of the russian girl vacationing there, she felt sick and went to the Alanya hospital, there it seems she died, her family in Russia received her body which was without liver, kidneys and other organs. The same with a german tourist in Malta... so many strange things happen in the Mediteranean.
I understand these can happen but I’m from the UK, I was threatened with being blown up by the IRA as a kid, now it’s being stabbed to death by for a watch. I tend to travel low season, those kinds of people aren’t there in the winter I find, just locals… I always say don’t travel to Saudi Arabia or Dubai as these are not safe for tourists, in this case the police…many would disagree.
is it worth buying does blackframe and just holding on to them and selling in like 5-10 years time?
No, not really prices are slow to increase in Georgia due to the high interest rates. Get a turnkey and get it rented out, get your money back quicker
@@budget_nomad thank you for repsonding. could u tell me a good site to look for apartments?

Do you think that it is cheaper to book the day activities/trips online? Great vid btw
Tricky question. There are multiple passes you can buy, maybe the cable car might be cheaper online. Thanks for the support.
I have an apartment, in Orbi Resedance studio fullyfurnished. Willing to sale
Where are the hottest girls tho
I'll do a separate video about that.
Hi, did you manage/try to get this as a personal bag on any flights? I have a old bagpack that looks like a business bagpack and it has dimensions of 55/35/25 when fully loaded and I never had any problems using it as a personal bag (no paying anything extra for weight or carry on).
You can come but it is pushing the limits. I now have an Osprey Troops 34l much easier to get on.
@@budget_nomad really tempted between this forclaz and a quechua nh500 32l...thanks for the reply!
@@DenisEneotescu they have actually discontinued this model but it available some places....I probably should review the new one.
where are the bus tickets sold please?
At the bus station there are many kiosks. It is possible online but I do not recommend it for foreigners in Turkey.
thanks!
No problem!

Thanks for making this video. Any updates? Any idea what a black frame costs in your building now? Sort of liked the idea of being able to make it a white frame later closer to completion. Thanks!
Prices are from around $24000 black frame now
Bosnien und Herzegowina ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
it's not Trebinny it is Trebinje
I want to see you fit all of that into that tiny bag
Amazing advice. Thank you. For a while the Ukraine-Russland thing combined with Georgia's mask mandate kept me from Georgia. I am currently in Bulgaria and aiming for 10% tax here my first year abroad. However, I am kinda considering Georgia. Nothing is certain, but the hypothetical scenario of Russia invading Batumi is rather far-fetched, because Batumi is right next to Turkey's border and such an action may trigger a larger war between NATO and Russia. And if Batumi were invaded I would want to leave Europe even if I'm staying in Bulgaria. Thus, it doesn't matter all that much whether I stay in Bulgaria or Georgia.
Just bits prices are higher now, apartments start at $35000
Koh Chang have proper hospital, no need going to Trat if need it go to hospital. there is supermarkets like a big C, Makro, Lotus ( Tesco before) so, not just 7 eleven. many monthly accommodation around 4000bhat and many daily accommodations around 300-350bhat , about food...there is again many street foods where is price around 50-60bhat per meal, in White sand beach is every evening street market food......so, budget in Koh Chang is really low.
First of all, if you doing a video about something, you should know how to spell it correctly. It's TREBINJE, not Trebenje or Trejinje. Keep up a good work mate. 👍
Ok
Looks a lovely place.
Yeah all the beautiful French colonial architecture...what a dump

@@budget_nomad The oficial name of the country in UN and in all countries of the world is not desputable , since when the official names of the countries need some peoples aprooval , do you need any aprooval from thre south afticans to call their country South Africa ???...or you are calling it Africa ???
He is using cheapest products you can buy in India, Even most of the Indians dont use these products,
Everything in India is cheaply made!!!???
@@budget_nomad Actually, the medicine is usually cheap all over the world, but companies have huge margins, also other companies can't replicate the formula of medicine due to government regulations, but in India companies can replicate formulas so they sell it for less margins. Also, the government too makes the medicine with those same formulas. In other products, You can find the same product with a price range from cheap to expensive.
Everything will be automated eventually....
What products can you get in Corfu that aren't easy to get in Albania?
British food
Of course. So did you stock up?@@budget_nomad
We just got back from a week in Saranda and I basically agree with everything he says. In fact we seemed to have had the same trip without realising. Food in the supermarkets can be a little overpriced if you're not buying local products but it's not too prohibitive. My wife had the idea to visit the nearby picturesque mountain city of Gjirokaster which was a highlight of the trip and I strongly recommend anybody in the south of Albania to go there. Gjirokaster is also the birthplace of former leader Enver Hoxha and they have a 200-capacity Cold War nuclear bunker too.
Did you have a paid Revolut account when the froze it or was it one of there paid accounts?
Just a normal account. It won't make a difference, if they deem it suspicious they will block it.
fantastic.. you were in Old town (all those neat cafes and party starting goodness :D) that strange interesting language written is like old Greek? Cyrillic ?
Can i put inside 2 person varient tent separating the poles and tent cover ?? With some cloths , portable cook set
Yes
Do you have to pay for the extra 10kg on ryanair or would it pass as a backpack?
I got it through
Thanks for the valuable information!
Thanks
Thanks for the great demo on this kettle. The issue with all these flask kettles is they are not duel voltage so, if you want travel to different countries and use with plug adapter it probably won't work as uk voltage is 230v and USA is 120v or less. Therefore, this kettle will probably not work or take ages to boil due to voltage difference. This kettle is only good and can be use in the same country its purchased in (not a travel kettle at all due to not been duel voltage).
It works everywhere outside the USA 😄😄😄
@@budget_nomad What happens if you take a UK version to USA will It work then?
