The problem is the gear speed sensors getting dirty from bad gear oil so it confuses the system. New ones will sort this out or if you’re lucky changing the oil might get them cleaned

@@Hondalife_8 mine it’s working great now, I did a flush with 2 times, the second time I put sea foam transmission cleaner then I add a torque converter additive it’s called lube guard in a red bottle and the other one I put is a dr tranny insta shudder fix tube it’s also a small red bottle, it’s about 20 a bottle but man it really works

Mz. Hanzy, I would hope going forward you change your transmission fluid every 60K miles. In addition to that, I would hope you change your differential fluid front and back. This too should be done every 30K miles.

Out of my experience, if you don’t want to waste your money, give it to the main dealer let them diagnose the problem then fix the problem because if it’s not what they say is then they are liable so in all honesty, just let the main dealer deal with it by the time you work out what’s going on you would’ve wasted more money than they want to do the job in the first place take it to main dealer. If it’s something like this in the video you will be wasting money there’s about 10 different reasons your car can act like this. I will let everybody know how I get on next week with the main dealer hopefully they fix my problem. If not, it will be at their expense.

I have a 2011 glk350. Having the same issue. I changed the oil, the pcv, spark plugs, coil packs, new battery, today just did the transmission oil change, which the mechanic said the oil looked clean from the transmission. My issue is maintaining speed at around 20-35 mph. Meaning maintaining speed with traffic. The idle just jumps up and down. It has a new fuel pump and new fuel filter. New MAF, new gaskets from throttle body and MAF, new air filters, new intake manifold, and new o.rings on the injectors. Not sure if it's my torque converter or maybe a vacuum leak somewhere since all.those.hoses are original

@@rickygibbs9403 not yet the shudder from taking off went away, however I still have the rpm and mild hesitation which I feel slightly. Although the trans oil change did make it a bit more lively. This coming week I'm going to take it for the torque converter and have them change it. Will let you know. I have heard about the lock up clutch solenoid that sometimes goes bad as well. So I'm thinking of doing them both. I already have the solenoid with me. I'll let you know what comes up.

Im having the same issue with my 2010 glk 350 some mornings takes a second longer to start other mornings starts up just fine ,when the rpms start to fluctuate like yours was doing in the video and feel a slight vibration, it also at times is sluggish on accelerating When i get up to highway speeds car runs like nothing wrong with it , no check engine light no codes, i have a appt at the Mb dealer tomorrow morning to replace transmission oil and filter do you think im having the same issue as you were and it will fix my problem?

changing the tranny fluid on these cars is not something you can do without the proper tools. its a sealed transmission therefore it has to be sucked out and pushed back in. I believe im talking about the mercedes and not my lexus right now? Nevertheless you still have to reset the transmission ECU.

Damn I got the same problem and spend a lot of money.mine is a 2011 c300 4matic luxury I even took it to mercedes change spark plugs nothing change I got 143000 now I’m going to try this and come back to let you guys know cause In a point I thought this car had a ghost in it lol that shit made me get a whole new car loll but I’m still driving it as my day driving to go to work etc and protect the new one I’m not gonna lie I love this car and it is so strong,reliable and smooth sometimes you don’t feel it in mine and it start doing it you put the transmission on neutral it stops so I want to solve the problem I’ll be back

please let us know if this solved your problem. it solved mine with no help from the dealer at all on this subject. although i will say you will need to get it changed about every 50k miles which is usually when it starts acting up again. so far ive had to do this twice now. Although everytime after changing the fluid my problem disappears.

it truly does do wonders off the rip u will feel it recirculating a bit adjusting to the right levels etc. i ran it maybe a cool 30 mins on drive felt wonderful, then i wanted to try it on sport, it also felt wonderful such a difference but u do have to run it a good other 30 mins and let it run, but no yeah, great advice if u feel any crazy vibrations from trying to go higher in speed, or getting weird pull backs going up the hill i strongly recommend this advice, feels buttery smooth on the highways now.

update lmao the fluid change did give it back PLENTY of life, jr actually wouldn’t shudder or vibrate like it did before BUTT i had low compression in bank 3 causing an annoying misfire that didn’t even turn check engine light on. so long story short i sold it and getting me another c class.

Well I couldnt answer that, My honest advice would not be to change you own fluid if you dont know what type of fluid. Im not sure if your aware or not but the transmission is sealed and you need special equiptment and tools to suck the fluid out and pump them back into the transmission.... Honestly I couldnt begin to give you any advice on how to or what to use except only use genuine Mercedes fluids directly from the dealer. I wouldnt waste my time using anything else. Now after you change your fluid You will have this same problem again in about 45k miles and at that time it will be time to change your fluid AGAIN!

let me tell you my symptoms because i think we have experienced the exact same thing. I have multiple misfires in 6 of the 8 cylinders and my car transmission shifts so bad and slips. Perosnally, ive been on youtube the past month trying new things every day. I replaced the entire mass air flow sensor, all8 spark plugs, all 8 ignition coils, fuel pump and fuel sending unit, engine oil change, new air filters etc. THE ONLY THING I HAVENT DONE YET IS THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND I REALLY THINK YOU JUST FOUND MY PROBLEM!!! my cars hard to start sometimes but when it does start, it starts up every time. I noticed that almost every single time i first start the car and try to go into reverse or drive, the car doesnt move. Im going to change the transmission oil and case and filter this week and i will update you asap to see if this is my problem. could you tell me every symptom you had? i have an 07 mercedes s550 but theyre all practically the same.

Well sir try replacing the coil packs and spark plugs again. My car didn't have any actual misfire codes, it just felt like it was misfiring. My transmission didn't slip like the noticeable shifting problem when your loosing a transmission and it slips into neutral. and the transmission fluid shouldn't have anything to do with an actual misfire problem. those 2 seem unrelated. You can try changing the fluid, but in your case, from what your describing to me I would only think that will worsen your problem. I am so sorry I wish i had better answers for you. Although I am still curious to know if you did change your fluid and if it improved your situation at all? i highly doubt it would change it in full, but anything's possible .

@@ammarahmad6526 yeah it worked for me. You wont have any engine codes but youll have a tcm code which all obd readers dont read. I would do it, eventually you'll get misfires if you let it get too dirty and thats what happened to me

I cant go over 50mph. My rpm’s stay below 3 and go up and down…. It feels like a vacume leak or someone said a throttle resets would do it. Idk maybe a Tran flush will do it but u said it’s irrelevant. I had a misfire before this and changed spark plugs and coils and injector and then i deleted the code and it ran fine for a day and went back to breathing for air and jumping rpm’s

at 40k miles you will strt to notice the rpm problem. in my case that meant every 50k miles after 150k i ve had to have it changed to fix the problem. Ive changed my fluid twice now. the reason for every 50k miles after your 1st initial fluid change, is because the mechanics can not fully drain your transmission, only partially which leaves a large amount of very dirty fluid behind. that mixes with your new fluid... you say you have a new transmission, it could be very likely that the mechanic whom put it in didn't fill your transmission all the way with fluid, to do that he has to hook up the obd reader and check the levels at specific heat temperature points to determine if its filled correctly since the transmission is fully sealed and doesn't come with a check stick for you and I to access! Also if you just had your transmission changed did your mechanic use all original MBZ fluids and a New Filter and Screen? I say take it to the dealer and have them check for trouble codes.

How many miles were on the car when you changed the fluid? if over 200k then i think you need to do it again. because that would be alot of dirt and metal to mix with new fluid! it would automatically make the 1st change of fluid still very dirty. Just alot less dirty. Although it doesnt take much dirt to clog the filter and screen of the transmission. Its not like a Tahoe where you can run it 300k and never change the fluid just add some every now and then. This car is case sensitive for some of the most silliest things.

I have the exact same problem and I have done several attempts to figure out what's wrong. After trying all same repairs as you did, I was convinced that the issue was related to the exhaust system but appears that catalytic converters are fine, so I will try what you did about changing the transmission fluid next. NO check engine Light will come on for the transmission fluid. if you have a check engine light on and its doing the same thing or similar I suggest you check your coil packs by rearanging them with a new one. look for videos on how to do that. or maybe the problem is you have more than one simple problem.

C220 I have had the same issue, fixed every fault, code sensors, they have all gone away, just changed transmission fluid and Money still doing the same thing. Did you manage to fix yours? Thanks, Ricky
@@rickygibbs9403 not yet the shudder from taking off went away, however I still have the rpm and mild hesitation which I feel slightly. Although the trans oil change did make it a bit more lively. This coming week I'm going to take it for the torque converter and have them change it. Will let you know. I have heard about the lock up clutch solenoid that sometimes goes bad as well. So I'm thinking of doing them both. I already have the solenoid with me. I'll let you know what comes up.

Im having the same issue with my 2010 glk 350 some mornings takes a second longer to start other mornings starts up just fine ,when the rpms start to fluctuate like yours was doing in the video and feel a slight vibration, it also at times is sluggish on accelerating When i get up to highway speeds car runs like nothing wrong with it , no check engine light no codes, i have a appt at the Mb dealer tomorrow morning to replace transmission oil and filter do you think im having the same issue as you were and it will fix my problem?

changing the tranny fluid on these cars is not something you can do without the proper tools. its a sealed transmission therefore it has to be sucked out and pushed back in. I believe im talking about the mercedes and not my lexus right now? Nevertheless you still have to reset the transmission ECU.
Damn I got the same problem and spend a lot of money.mine is a 2011 c300 4matic luxury I even took it to mercedes change spark plugs nothing change I got 143000 now I’m going to try this and come back to let you guys know cause In a point I thought this car had a ghost in it lol that shit made me get a whole new car loll but I’m still driving it as my day driving to go to work etc and protect the new one I’m not gonna lie I love this car and it is so strong,reliable and smooth sometimes you don’t feel it in mine and it start doing it you put the transmission on neutral it stops so I want to solve the problem I’ll be back
please let us know if this solved your problem. it solved mine with no help from the dealer at all on this subject. although i will say you will need to get it changed about every 50k miles which is usually when it starts acting up again. so far ive had to do this twice now. Although everytime after changing the fluid my problem disappears.

it truly does do wonders off the rip u will feel it recirculating a bit adjusting to the right levels etc. i ran it maybe a cool 30 mins on drive felt wonderful, then i wanted to try it on sport, it also felt wonderful such a difference but u do have to run it a good other 30 mins and let it run, but no yeah, great advice if u feel any crazy vibrations from trying to go higher in speed, or getting weird pull backs going up the hill i strongly recommend this advice, feels buttery smooth on the highways now.

update lmao the fluid change did give it back PLENTY of life, jr actually wouldn’t shudder or vibrate like it did before BUTT i had low compression in bank 3 causing an annoying misfire that didn’t even turn check engine light on. so long story short i sold it and getting me another c class.

Was having the same issue with my wife 09 C300 4MATIC. THE Transfer case was low on oil. Drained it and topped it off and it fixed it.

Well I couldnt answer that, My honest advice would not be to change you own fluid if you dont know what type of fluid. Im not sure if your aware or not but the transmission is sealed and you need special equiptment and tools to suck the fluid out and pump them back into the transmission.... Honestly I couldnt begin to give you any advice on how to or what to use except only use genuine Mercedes fluids directly from the dealer. I wouldnt waste my time using anything else. Now after you change your fluid You will have this same problem again in about 45k miles and at that time it will be time to change your fluid AGAIN!
let me tell you my symptoms because i think we have experienced the exact same thing. I have multiple misfires in 6 of the 8 cylinders and my car transmission shifts so bad and slips. Perosnally, ive been on youtube the past month trying new things every day. I replaced the entire mass air flow sensor, all8 spark plugs, all 8 ignition coils, fuel pump and fuel sending unit, engine oil change, new air filters etc. THE ONLY THING I HAVENT DONE YET IS THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND I REALLY THINK YOU JUST FOUND MY PROBLEM!!! my cars hard to start sometimes but when it does start, it starts up every time. I noticed that almost every single time i first start the car and try to go into reverse or drive, the car doesnt move. Im going to change the transmission oil and case and filter this week and i will update you asap to see if this is my problem. could you tell me every symptom you had? i have an 07 mercedes s550 but theyre all practically the same.
Well sir try replacing the coil packs and spark plugs again. My car didn't have any actual misfire codes, it just felt like it was misfiring. My transmission didn't slip like the noticeable shifting problem when your loosing a transmission and it slips into neutral. and the transmission fluid shouldn't have anything to do with an actual misfire problem. those 2 seem unrelated. You can try changing the fluid, but in your case, from what your describing to me I would only think that will worsen your problem. I am so sorry I wish i had better answers for you. Although I am still curious to know if you did change your fluid and if it improved your situation at all? i highly doubt it would change it in full, but anything's possible .

@@ammarahmad6526 yeah it worked for me. You wont have any engine codes but youll have a tcm code which all obd readers dont read. I would do it, eventually you'll get misfires if you let it get too dirty and thats what happened to me
I cant go over 50mph. My rpm’s stay below 3 and go up and down…. It feels like a vacume leak or someone said a throttle resets would do it. Idk maybe a Tran flush will do it but u said it’s irrelevant. I had a misfire before this and changed spark plugs and coils and injector and then i deleted the code and it ran fine for a day and went back to breathing for air and jumping rpm’s
@@davidmendoza5522 it’s the trans change your fluids every 40-60k miles especially on these Mercedes’ ! Anything jumpy on rpm’s would be your trans fluids check the dipstick before because if it’s too late flushing your trans would only ruin it

Mine is a new transmission fluid but still surge but i recently done a repair vgs panel could it be the think causing the rpm surge
at 40k miles you will strt to notice the rpm problem. in my case that meant every 50k miles after 150k i ve had to have it changed to fix the problem. Ive changed my fluid twice now. the reason for every 50k miles after your 1st initial fluid change, is because the mechanics can not fully drain your transmission, only partially which leaves a large amount of very dirty fluid behind. that mixes with your new fluid... you say you have a new transmission, it could be very likely that the mechanic whom put it in didn't fill your transmission all the way with fluid, to do that he has to hook up the obd reader and check the levels at specific heat temperature points to determine if its filled correctly since the transmission is fully sealed and doesn't come with a check stick for you and I to access! Also if you just had your transmission changed did your mechanic use all original MBZ fluids and a New Filter and Screen? I say take it to the dealer and have them check for trouble codes.
How many miles were on the car when you changed the fluid? if over 200k then i think you need to do it again. because that would be alot of dirt and metal to mix with new fluid! it would automatically make the 1st change of fluid still very dirty. Just alot less dirty. Although it doesnt take much dirt to clog the filter and screen of the transmission. Its not like a Tahoe where you can run it 300k and never change the fluid just add some every now and then. This car is case sensitive for some of the most silliest things.

Did this fix your problem? Its very hard for me to understand why none of the usual techs at the dealer and or my own mechanic had the experience to automatically know what my problem was.
I have the exact same problem and I have done several attempts to figure out what's wrong. After trying all same repairs as you did, I was convinced that the issue was related to the exhaust system but appears that catalytic converters are fine, so I will try what you did about changing the transmission fluid next. It’s not necessary a misfire. It’s called a converter lockup
Did you have a check engine light on? Also if so, did the fluid change get rid of the light?
NO check engine Light will come on for the transmission fluid. if you have a check engine light on and its doing the same thing or similar I suggest you check your coil packs by rearanging them with a new one. look for videos on how to do that. or maybe the problem is you have more than one simple problem.
Is this why my 2009 c300 is slow to start from 0-60... i feel like i'm the slowest car on the road.
