  Sand is trash. Only filters down to 30 microns. Better off with a cartridge which filters at 10-20 microns. If you got the money, D.E. filters at 1 micro; a single blood cell.

  I want this pool now. But my best way is 16x16x48 . And it was only 300. I got it on sale on Amazon also. But I did have to upgrade to a sand filter which was only like 120 bucks.

  We're doing the same thing. Got the pool cheap and just upgrading the tubing and filter system. So much less expensive than intex.
