  Hi man. I've got an s280 w140 with manual seats. Due to a health issue i want to swap the drivers seat into full electric to have more options to adjust it to be more comfortable. Have you ever done it? Is it possible? Thanks in advance.

  I’ve got to be honest the lowest spec car we got in the US was the S320 and they all came with power seats. From what I’ve seen on the W140 chassis almost all options are wired into the car, but without seeing one of those I wouldn’t be able to tell.

  This tool worked until the gasket failed to seal (both). Mine too only went to 10psi.

  aloha pet i know you did this 5 years ago i have no idea if your still alive! any way i hope you are . i am looking at buying a 2002 ls430 ultra lux just like this one it was maintained by dealer has 160k miles new timeing belt and water pump gold with gold badges {i really like the gold and gold badges} been looking for over a year hard to find , he wants 12,000 and im not going to pay that for a 22 year old car i may offer 8 to 10 k what do you think oh i have to ship it to hawaii also!!

  @@nickprussing1963 honestly it was one of the best cars I ever owned. I was able to sell it for a big profit after owning it for several months. But I didn’t pay much at all for mine and sold mine for around $5500. Most I see listed with what you’re saying sell for $$7-10k with a few above that but typically with lower mileage. I would say the car is well worth $8k if you can get if for that and have it inspected.

  Excellent of you to show the cap removed so people can see the secondary collar with the twist grooves. Sometimes, after shifter removal, when you try to pull the lower twist cap off, it pulls the secondary collar off of the shifter...the one with the twist grooves in it. Putting the shift back on is impossible if you don't separate the two collars and put the secondary one back on the shifter first...THEN the outer one before putting it back on. Thank you thank you thank you.

  how do u get the wire part off? i tried a 11/16 a 9/16 a 12, 11, 10, none of them fit. i dont think the bolt is stripped either but all sizes i put on it just move around the bolt. i have a 305 but both motors are basically the same

  Hey I have a 2004 s500 4matic I replaced the rear passenger shock but it's not leveling on the driver side. (It's higher on driver side front/rear) should I change the level sensor?

  This is all wrong.. the fuel pump should be mounted closest to the gas tank.. add lower than the bottom of it. Or as long.. and that' regular sucks..

  Seems you got brake fluid inside the pump itself. I believe it is a user error.

  I've changed out two on my 95 SC300. To remove the belt just out a 14mm socket and rachet on it and pull to the right like you're tigthening the bolt. Belt comes right off. Also, I've never jacked mine up to get to the lower bolt. I just remove the 4 bolts on the fan and move it out of the way. Alternator comes right out through the top easily. Takes me about 45 mintues to do one.

  You must remove ash tray liner, remove the screw holding the ash tray timber panel, then remove the two torx 20 screws holding the shifter timber panel to the stereo surround panel, only then can you lift the shifter panel up from the front and unhook at the back. If you use a massive screw driver to pry up at the back you will break the panel. Wonder how many people have broken their panel following this guys video.

  I found the alternator for under $200.00. Dealership quoted me $950.00 inc the labor. BTW... Mine has 180K miles on it

  Ironically we just got our first test ones completed by a shop. Cost should be very affordable since it’s not something we need to make profits off of but need to cover costs. I will be updating soon

  Waste of money. You don’t need all that. Run a clear tube from your bleeder to a tall container of brake fluid and pump a few times, check for bubbles, right rear, then left rear, then right front, then left front, if the master cylinder is on the left. Works very time, no need for any help or these waste of money devices.
