    I did splits stretches everyday for an hour for 3 months, turns out that was too much 😅 think I strained my hamstring and had to do physio. ~3 times/week guys don't strain your muscles like me 🥺🥲

    For silks, you do need to have some basic like invert and climbing before you can even take a beginner class. This is why this video opens up with a prerequisite.

    When I took lessons at a studio, it was hard to learn because the instructor showed poses & transitions, not distinguishing between them. When a move has a name, it gives it a point of reference and helps define, if u are not a purely visual learner. Thank you for that endeavor!!

  • @aerialpractice

    I can't wait to try this, thank you so much for making a true beginners back bend series. I have decent flexibility in many areas, even good in some but back bends are beyond me. I almost think it started as a fear thing because of a weird diving accident where my feat somehow came up behind me and whacked me in the head superhard and crushed me to the bottom of the pool. How does that even happen? ! I think I automatically tense up when I try to bend back and fight against myself so I want to just really thoroughly understand the basics and take it gradually.

  • @aerialpractice
    @aerialpractice13 күн бұрын

    I was the same! Back has always been my biggest weaknesses! If you are too, maybe worth trying this new routine I just posted. My intention on how I use my upper back and mid back massively changed my back flexibility. Hope you'll find your progress soon too! kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGGlzpusqJm3gdI.htmlsi=ywI724vHhK24Q2M4

    It could work if you have a professional to look at your structure and designed an optimal solution for you. Unfortunately with wood it's not as straight forward, but that's why people consider free standing rigs!
