How the upper body moves is super important for looking natural, so I do hope you or any other viewer of this video will get something out of it from that perspective if you are wanting to use this video as an instructional tool. And you have a point! This video is a DEMONSTRATION of what you will learn if you enroll in my beginner-friendly online tutorial to this song and NOT a tutorial, which should be obvious once it starts playing and the video doesn't include any actual INSTRUCTION. But it would probably be better to name it DEMO or add the word "available" after the phrase "beginner online tutorial" to be more clear. What style of dance is this?
Hi! The style is really a mashup of several styles of social dance moves that I believe are the most natural looking and easy to learn for beginners. If looking for named specifics, a combination of rumba, shag and swing? But most of it is not a specific style that you would learn at a ballroom studio, but steps that I’ve used over the years to create wedding dances that are easy to learn and do without looking overly formal. Hope this helps!

But if you look at some of the other online wedding dance programs from the US, you'll see my prices are actually right in line with theirs. I also offer a year of access so you can learn at your own pace, versus just three months of access or a subscription model. Also, private lessons at traditional ballroom studios typically start at around $150 for ONE 60-minute lesson and can go up to over $300/hour depending on the location in the US. I believe my online program is an affordable and really easy-to-learn option for people who don't have the time or budget for private lessons, and worth it for the results that my students get out of it. But again, I totally understand if this isn't the right program for you! I truly wish you all the best if you are planning to dance to this song at your or your child's wedding in the future! 😊
