  I still really find it weird seeing folks here get too... overly patriotic about their country. Gotta understand, football isn't a popular sport at all for us, at all. I mean, when you call your men's team the "ass" kals, I mean :/ like, it's mostly a basketball country, lol. Over here in the states, filipino sports nights are during NBA games (nets and warriors, especially), I'm not going to go to a RedBulls game and see them do a random filipino appreciation game like I did for 2 years with the Nets vs Hawks and Nets vs Heat. Regardless, respect to the filipino women's national team cuz they kicked butt. I also realistically hope this helps bolster soccer/football in the philippines. Like, it's pretty validating being in a highly hispanic community where you're the only asian guy where your fiance and her parents bring up stuff about your country, about a thing they aren't known for, at all, and getting a win or 2. that's really big. Like, I know this stuff is what inspires young boys and girls to get into the sport, like what we've seen with the Japanese men's and women's teams, where for all we know, the men might make it to the semi finals next men's world cup, much as how the women's team has garnered major success having won the women's world cup there. Just real talk, let's be realistic about where things are with the Philippine national teams, both the men's and women's teams. The men's will always have a rough rode representing Asia, you have Saudi, Qatar, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan being big heavy hitters. The women, there's a chance as we've seen, but it's going to need more than a lot of women from California, trained in a mostly American soccer environment to get the Philippines up there. Just because people were singing the national anthem now, let's make it that people are, because they know that the Philippines has a shot, and not just from just being able to participate.

  Truly philippines is the land of singers. Nungka national anthem yan. Ramdam mo ang buong puso na pag awit ng pilipino sa ating pambansang awit. Sabi siguro ng ibang lahi. Sana ganito rin kami kapag inaawit narin namin ang pambansang awit ng bansa namin. Nakakakulabot sa ganda.

  Hi sir. You can drive all the way from Auckland to Hobbiton site or you can go to town I-site in Matamata then they have a bus from there to the hobbiton site, just do the booking on-line first. Just go the Hobitton web site sir, you have all the options there , in our case, we book for dinner buffet. We drove from our town directly to the Hobbiton site using Google map😃

  It was kind of emotional to hear lupang hinirang in world cup. As a half Filipino Japanese, malditas loss against norway was heartbreaking but it is glad that Japan took revenge for Philippines on round of 16 somehow -:)
