Getting Stamped

Getting Stamped

Hey there! We're Adam and Hannah from GettingStamped.com

In 2103, we left home on a "Round-the-World" trip that was supposed to be a year-long, but we never really stopped. Fast-forward a bunch of years, and we made it to 80+ countries and all 7 continents. We recently picked up two little hitchhikers who tag along on our adventures, too. We are now traveling with kids and creating family travel content with our son Atlas and daughter Isla.

One of these days, we will post videos here regularly, but until then, please enjoy travel videos from a few of our favorite places on a very irregular basis.

Having served in the FALKLAND ISLANDS ,I honesty cannot understand why you did not visit Saunders Island it is by far the best for wildlife ,really strange? But still a very good video ,by the way I used to visit Rob McGill and take service personal on canoeing and camping to Crooked Inlet from Hill Cove 👍

They do have a lighthouse with an accessible ramp to the top (seriously). I can't recall which one but it has a long wooden ramp through the trees to the top. They would probably like visiting that one.

We are so jealous! Have fun in Playa, and make sure to eat El Fogon (get Al Pastor tacos & the Queso Fundito con chorizo). We would suggest spending at least a night or two in Holbox. It is about a 3 hour journey from Playa after you factor in the drive, ferry boat and then the walk/golf cart ride to your destination.

I'm a Brit living in Scotland, I'm absolutely fascinated by the Falklands and its history, its such a dream of mine to visit and see the wildlife with my little girl. Even more so now having watched this brilliant video. Does it cost a lot for the rides on those small Red planes?

Only a couple days in on using this pump (Elvie Stride), already having issues w/ suction due to trouble w/ lack of suction or other part not staying in place.. also making sure everything is dry after cleaning so I'm not sure what else to do to avoid these issues. I'm really hoping to figure it out because when it works it works great!

Downvotes from Argentinians who can't accept the fact that the U.K has claimed the Falklands before they were even a country. And the inhabitants mostly descended from people who moved to the island hundreds of years ago want the status quo.

@@Gonza_SenBritain claimed the islands back in 1594. The modern Argentine state wouldnt exist for another 267 years. The British are by definition the natives of those islands as there were no other inhabitants. Argentines, however, are descendants of colonists that took land from natives.

What a great video! I loved how you want to several places there not just Port Stanley. The photography and editing are both top notch! It seems like the weather was clear while you were there. I heard there is a lot of rain and it’s very cold. The scenery looked beautiful. Weird to think of visiting a place where maybe no human has ever set foot at least on parts of the islands.
