    The border was definitely open in October 2023. I used Bugesera Border Checkpoint

    If you're still in Addis Ababa, you should definitely visit the Entoto park, Mekato (the biggest open market in Africa) if you're accompanied by a proper guide because it could get hectic, Tomoka coffee house (the oldest in town I think), some of the big museums (which I think you already have)

    1:08 the driver is actually asking the passerby if he speaks English, so that he can translate for him. He was really lost when you asked him about the cross.

    The border is open. But it's a really time consuming process. I didn't film at the border because I didn't want to get any problems.

    English is not first language for other Africans too.. but Ethiopians never colonized therefore they mostly don’t speak English. Enjoy your time in Ethiopia!

    They were not colonized thanks to menelik in adwa, but the ethiopian school system is only english, so ethiopians are intelligent too.

    It should be a wake up call for you to uplift your country economically. I remember when i was struggling on the streets of Kampala with poverty many guys mocked me. Their mockery is what propelled me to the little success i enjoy now.
