Widely regarded as one of the most exciting and talented Guitarists in Europe Matthew has been delighting audiences worldwide with his insightful performances and effortless presentation in a concert career spanning well over 20 years.
Matthew has performed at major venues across the world such as The Concertgebouw Amsterdam, The Purcell Room & St Martin in the Fields, London, Teatro Britanico, Lima, The Sage, Gateshead, Cenart, Mexico City, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Eugene O’Neil Theater, San Jose and Dom Armije, Sarajevo to name a few.
Matthew has toured extensively throughout North & South America, Canada, Europe and Asia both as a soloist and chamber musician, and has also produced an extensive discography with Baros Records.
As an educator Matthew holds the posts of Classical Guitar Lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and is the Director of the Classical Guitar Retreat.

Not at all, it is a little quiet for a few minutes but the audio level was increased during Stefano, the very first player, the sound quality is very good, and after the volume was increased everything is sounding where it should across a variety of speakers and systems.
First time I hear it on classical guitar. "Spain" deserves it as a version. Logically. 👏

Congrats to the winner. I thought that Kianush would have won due to his amazing performance; his incredible use and execution of a wide range of dynamics; and for the variety as well as sheer number of technical skills he used within his chosen excruciatingly difficult pieces.
Thanks for streaming. Managed to listen live with one eye on men’s Wimbledon final!. Superb playing from all six finalists. Great range of pieces as well. Must try and attend next year.

hmmmmm would not want to sound arrogant in any way but that's why you should keep your thumb on the 6 or 5 string. I don't get this thumb crossing the strings
