Been looking at these but can see all the same review as what you said I have seen they have brought out the oex Vertex Lite 130 Roof Tent apparently made some new changes to this with discount codes I can get it for around £550 still in two minds after the the reviews and this vid 😅

Hey mate. Defo get it. Since doing this video I did a camp in it again. Weather was perfect. Nice n warm n dry. Had the windows open slightly to let air circulate through. No moisture at all, could breath fine and I made sure I had a decent pillow. Dream nights sleep

In everyones oppinion, what is the best mine to stop at in Castleton? out of Blue John or Treak mine? or speedwell, etc, I have passed here for stopovers for hikes and a wild camp on Kinder scout but never explored the mines!

Cheers for watching Dan. I have since used this on a sunny night. Had the windows left and right slightly open and never had an issue and had a great nights sleep. However if u do think about getting one get on top cashback and either blacks millets and go outdoors do 20% cashback now and again so u get a nice chunk of money off. Get it for about £680 then

Did just that the other day mate. Camped back out in it and coz it was warm out I had the door shut but a nice breeze running through both windows and that way it helped with air circulation and not a drop

Great review..Im buying one of these..you absolutely need to crack the windows and maintain ventilation and air flow. This a fundamnetsl in any camping situation. I have a bell tent and.i both wild cam and car camp . i always crack windows in my car, in my FTT and have my vents open accordingly..ive also a roof top tent ands ive alwyas opened the windows up there by an inch or 2.. as a previous comment.. a fan would help to keep air moving.. but the main thing is..open the windows..it will keep air flow..and create less disparity of outside /inside temps. which is the cause of the condensation.

No worries mate I’ve just used it last week in the lakes and I left both windows open a little bit and to be honest (obviously left the netting on) and I slept fantastically

Done this was £8 couple of yr ago. Awesome place. Tuck me a steady 4 hrs to get round. Don't rush it plenty of Awesome scenery. Question is Is there another place like this I can't find one in the u.k ?

Hi Ian. First of all thank you for watching my video. As far as I know there isn’t a walk where you pay like this one but there are a few other beautiful places. There’s Malham cove which I’ve done a video on and if you follow my route it will again take you a good few hours and pass a few amazing places.

I love this site thanks for posting. The scree slope on Pike O Stickle was the site where neolthic axes were quarried and cut 5000 years ago from volcanic greenstone (a nationally rare type of stone). The whole of the site is the axe factory and the cave is where workers escaped any bad weather, which I am sure there was a lot of! You video makes me want to go back up there.

I am so glad to have found your channel. I went here many times with my family on Summer holidays. The last time I did the complete walk was with a group of friends in 1992 so yes a long time ago. Its the most awesome place I ever had the opportunity to see and absolutely worth every penny. Just completed this route with my son, both first time up Scafell Pike, glad we choose (actually he did) this route. I have finally completed the 3 peaks, except it took 32 years and not a week.

Nice video. However, the rock outcrop with the cairn isn't the summit of Holme Fell, the highest point is 60m south in the direction of Coniston Water.

@@PaulMessner have you checked out my other video of Stump Cross Caverns? That’s an awesome place. Also I’ve just done Ingleborough cave but currently editing that one right now. There’s a small one called Yordas cave which is free to go In and inside there is an underground waterfall. Really cool.

I am so glad to have found your channel. I went here many times with my family on Summer holidays. The last time I did the complete walk was with a group of friends in 1992 so yes a long time ago. Its the most awesome place I ever had the opportunity to see and absolutely worth every penny. Just completed this route with my son, both first time up Scafell Pike, glad we choose (actually he did) this route. I have finally completed the 3 peaks, except it took 32 years and not a week.
It’s a great route mate. Glad you both enjoyed it. Much better than the boring zigzags route anyways.

Nice video. However, the rock outcrop with the cairn isn't the summit of Holme Fell, the highest point is 60m south in the direction of Coniston Water.

Trick photography mate haha. Only messing. Spent HOURS there and just made sure while making the video I wasn’t in anyone’s way or recording anyone without consent.

@@PaulMessner have you checked out my other video of Stump Cross Caverns? That’s an awesome place. Also I’ve just done Ingleborough cave but currently editing that one right now. There’s a small one called Yordas cave which is free to go In and inside there is an underground waterfall. Really cool.
Yeah mate. There’s one called blue John cavern but they won’t let you in without being with a guide. Won’t let you just take your time round etc.
