Coach, thank you for this! If you have anymore old Notre Dame passing game stuff from the 90s I would love to see it. The other video from this clinic, Skip Holtz talks about the WR position and how they teach the WRs a technique called the Weave to run routes. If you have anything else on that I would love to see it!

HD was so new they didn't even use it for All 22. Probably; it's actual FILM, what a pain in the ass that was. Digital files I hit back arrow key for 2 second customize when watching football games Ive obtained via torrent. All 22 used to be available on football torrent networks, but the hardcores in torrent communities moved on I guess.

Awesome video. I wish more NFL teams emphasized the running game like this today. No one runs a split backfield anymore. Guards are too big and heavy today to get out and lead the power sweep. Teams still execute trap blocks and misdirection plays, but there is so much pistol and shotgun today.

I feel sorry for Gale Gillingham. What brains, strength and speed. It’s such a shame he only had a couple of years under Lombardi. He was totally miscoached under Devine. He could have been the greatest guard in history.

I don't. This is one of the best series I've every seen. Especially his detailed clinic on the Duo play from the 90's. He need to get more credit for that play by the know it all coaches on twitter.

The running game is what football's about. Vince loved it. Grinding meat he would call it. Before he was at Packers. He was the defensive coach at the Giants. He prided his team's to be relentless in defence

He was the Giants' offensive coach. Tom Landry was the Giants' defensive coach; that's where he developed the 4-3 defense. But you're absolutely right that Lombardi placed much importance on defense as a head coach.
