Hi, my name is Michael Lumley, I'm 36 years old and I live in the UK in a town called Eastbourne, I work in a Music shop in Eastbourne called Bonners.
I play and collect musical keyboards which is mostly what my KZread channel will be based on as well as reviewing the keyboards I got, my main keyboard is a Yamaha Genos 2 and my second main keyboard is a Yamaha PSR-SX900.
I've been playing keyboards for 22 years, my very first keyboard I started off with back in 2002 was a Yamaha PSR-170 and I still have it to this day, so far altogether I have 135 keyboards in my collection but I do plan to sell some of them as I am overloaded with keyboards.
Watching other peoples videos over the years has inspired me to make my own channel so I can share my hobbies and interests to all of you.

This flagship keyboard has a lot of rhythms, doesn't it?
@@timothyverbist5795 it only has 50 styles so not a lot for this range of keyboard 😜😉
@@KeyboardKrazy49 I get it, but i need to tell you that i hardly can wait for the next part of styles.
@@timothyverbist5795 umm… my previous comment was a joke, there are many styles on the Genos 2
Pfff..very long-winded and 5 times the same thing...
@@ruudzelf58 if you don’t like long tutorials (they are long as I go in depth with them), then go watch a short tutorial where it is likely they will rush everything.
Strange really, to me where these Yamaha PSR-E and PSR-EW keyboards do score highly is in the Auto Accompaniment section. I do though find many of the individual 'voices', tones or whatever folk like to call them, I find the majority of them lacking when heard individually in isolation. Some indeed are decent enough though overall even on a PSR-EW425, the next gen to this reviewed model some are lacking, I have seen a PSR-EW425 owner say so themselves. Though the thing is the Auto Accompaniment is made up of a selection & combination of those tones that on the whole individually I find lacking. Yet slap enough of them together and get it all up and going in the way Yamaha does to create a musical composition and it does seem agreeable. A bit of a paradox & perplexing for me how this is so, but 80 mins in to this video and it does sound great to me. Also almost all of the Accompaniment genre's sound ok on this PSR-EW410, yes they could be even better and more numerous, but then maybe that is the attraction of the PSR-SX series, better sounds and better Auto Accompaniment. The better voices/sounds leading to even better Auto Accompaniment, which are no doubt better composed in the first place. I could listen all night to these Auto Accompaniment styles one by one. I think they are fab, well impressed even if some folk are not. More than good enough for me.
Ciao sei molto bravo e preciso nelle spiegazioni, non sapendo la lingua Inglese seguo i tuoi video con i sottotitoli in Italiano,ma riesco comunque a seguirti. Ancora complimenti

I hope they add some anime song styles it would be cool
Very good video friend, it really helped me!! , I would like you to also try the Korg i3 keyboard 😁😁😁
I was lucky enough to have this bought for me during my school days by my parents as an upgrade to my Yamaha 570. It did me well but eventually I required more sequencer control as the Ax7 you could only record in one go into one of the 6 tracks I think it was so you couldn't add into the same track or it would simply go over the data. It was a decent machine though helping me understand my musical journey and I have some unfinished recorded work that I shall one day like to finish. Thanks for a good video. I think it was possibly late 87 when I got this because I remember a few years later I was able to get an SY77 in 89

Great review. One point: You say you prefered the quick sampling from e410, but with e410 you could not play a sample while playing regular piano right? You had to navigate to sampling function and use the sample zones. Here you have the four samples in separate buttons to use while playing. What do you think?
@@erjuanjojj that’s right, the sample zone is a separate sound itself, so you can’t play piano or organ sounds unless you use it in a dual voice, but there is much more to sample zones compared to the 4 buttons you’re limited to this keyboard, you’re only limited to one sample per button, and you can’t play them with a low or high pitch like you could on the EW410 as you can use the keys to play the samples
@@KeyboardKrazy49 hmm I see, I don't see very necessary to play a sample in different pitches (it is ok but if it is a snare, crash or whatever just want in one pitch). And in e410 how many different samples can you play at once? If there are 4 sample zones, you could play only 4 different samples at different pitches each one? Or more? Thank you very much.
The music sounds pretty nostalgic.

is their something you have to do to get the styles from those packs?

2:20 So when i was in middle school, me and the boys used the first demo song with full volume and connected to loudspeaker to make teacher feel annoyed and mad 😂

The first appearance of the Hit Kit, and the Standard Kit 1 is given a new snare, no longer shared with Room Kit. In addition, many of the basic high-end PSR voices originated from here, like the "Sweet" sax and trumpets
After You Done The Videos Of Yamaha Genos 2 Keyboard, What Keyboard Is Next? Yamaha PSR-E273 Keyboard Or Yamaha PSR-E283 Keyboard?
Don't talk about such keyboards on Genos 2 videos, not only are they such basic keyboards, it is also very off-topic of what you are watching thus, it is an insult to speak of those keyboards on a Genos 2 video, talking about a lowest of the range keyboard on a flaghip keyboard video!
