  We were there about 35 years ago, then 5 years ago. It’s beautiful especially the trip from Durango to Silverton on the train going 20 miles an hour. It gives you the experience of seeing everything up front instead of going in a car which you whiz by and see a blur. Beautiful.... Everyone should go and see it once. A trip you won’t forget.

  Top of the rock on average will take you about 2 hours. Normally included in the tour is entrance to the museum, with a shuttle ride back and forth. The museum can take 30 min to hours.

  I camped beside the Silverton rails in Durango back in 1984, during a cross country motorcycle trip from North Carolina to Western Wyoming, and I still remember the natural beauty and fresh air of Colorado. It's one of the most beautiful, soul cleansing areas that one could ever imagine visiting. If you have the opportunity to visit the area, I highly recommend it, just be sure to return the unfailing courtesy of the beautiful people there. They're great! 🇺🇸☮✌

  We thought we would just drive through this park. However, we had a great time going on several walks / hikes, and we met so many nice people from all over the country. We ended up spending the most of the day there. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

  Growing up in San Diego area back before the last couple decades I remember just beautiful Santana days in January through March. Now cold, heavy rain then blazing hot summer. Spring is bypassed. The weather is not organic but manipulated with cloud seeding and chemtrails.
