In this channel, I like to create Video Essays look at characters and stories from Film, TV, and Comics and analyze what makes them so great. I want to share my appreciation of these characters and stories with others and start a positive conversation that can potentially enhance the viewing experience for others.

Great videos you make. And the dumbest Yoda quote is "There is no try". Often repeated, still totally stupid. Of course there is try. When someone is new to a skill and has not yet mastered al aspects and dimensions of it. That quote has brought a lot of unnecessary pressure on beginners.
A great video. This is
Your work is great. Thank you.
These are probably the most enjoyable comments on the Star Wars saga. Very deep, very interesting, with a lot of love and care for the characters. Thank you.
My Favorite mixing new and old is Tulak Horde, Freedon Nadd, Exar Kun , Revan/Darth Revan , The Stranger , Mace Windu , General Pong Krell , Jedi Knight/survivor Cal Kestis , Galen Marek "starkiller"/Starkiller II And A'Sharad Hett /Darth Krayt
When Anakin tells Padmé he killed all the Tuskens and that he hates them, a previous draft of the script had more dialogue about this and I'm sad it was cut later as it adds some more nuance to Anakin's character. After the "I hate them!" line Anakin continues: "Why do I hate them? I couldn't control myself... I don't want to hate them... but I just can't forgive them." Padmé here says "To be angry is to be human." To which he responds "To control your anger is to be a Jedi." Padmé: "Ssshhh... you're human." Anakin: "No. I'm a Jedi. I know I'm better than this. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" Padmé: "You're like everyone else..."
Hot damn. How many awesome ideas did you send to the junkyard Lucas????
@@nestorsifuentesaguirre2722 Fun fact that these type of stuff usually manage to get into the comic or novel adaptations as the writers of those get the script early on so that their work can be published around the same time the movie premieres. The script can change during principal photography and the editing process, but the other writers work from the original version and luckily it seems Lucas didn't bother to tell them to make the same changes he made to the movie.
I'm loving this analysis series. Can't wait to watch part 3.
A really great character study. The prequels are beginning to grow on me as I watch this. Very deep anaysis.
Another great video. What I love about this series is that it shows that from the movies themselves there is a characterization that is lost on the people who were overly critical of the prequels. They didn't understand what the characters had to go through to be where they were in the original trilogy. They just expected an on off switch for turning to the dark side and so forth. But this series highlights the important events that lead to why flawed characters made the choices they did.
Spot on! Anakin suffered from childhood trauma and a part of him got stuck in the time he was a young boy. In my opinion Hayden Christensen did an amazing realistic performance!
I love all of these videos ❤ Thank you for doing justice to these characters and what they represent
Glad to have you back.
I love these videos
Just in time for my birthday tomorrow! Always look forward to and love these videos Krazikazi!
Darth Vader the greedy
Been waiting on this one! Love your content, keep up the great work 🙏🏿🔥
Finally! Best day to get this
Anakin Skywalker is my hero and one of my favorite characters in all fiction. He is very relatable as a character.
Windu is literally the embodiment of everything wrong with the Jedi order... everything Luke should have fixed but Disney fucked that up.
Add Rogue One ,since Vader/Anakin is in it!
Natalie portman was fucking hot as hell in these movies especially episode 2
Everyone needs a Padmé in their lives.
I haven’t finished this yet, but I’m just gonna drop this rq. I hate the emperor so much, and that’s probably why he’s literally the greatest character in the franchise.
We love to hate him.
I rate this video 0/10, it says the best star wars character and then talk about han solo instead of palpatine
Mace is not even close to actually being stoic. He’s basically a scared little female dog. Qui-gon is actually stoice, letting emotions roll off while accepting them and staying in the present.
Palpatine fulfilled what those Jedi boneheads failed to do. Had Dooku took up the role as Anakin's master following the death of Jinn, the situation could have been saved..
*I REALLY wish you would do analysis like this about Harry Potter characters :)*
I'd like someone's opinion on this: Watching Yoda's death scene I've been thinking about Grogu. His aging doesn't make sense. I already thought that, but I started really thinking about it. Comparing it to Asgardians in the MCU. To my understanding, Asgardians grow at the same rate as humans until adulthood. Afterwards, their aging process is way slower than humans. Grogu's evolution seems to be the reverse. For it to make sense within the canon presented he would need to grow slower until adulthood and then age insanely faster than humans. If it was proportional to humans (like Yoda being 900yo is roughly what a 90yo human would be), Grogu should be like a 5yo being 50yo in the story. Which would make him able to speak, but it's not the case. They wanted a cute little thingy to sell toys, but didn't really think through the lore implications. It should've been clarified how their species age, without revealing too much as to not demystify Yoda. (They probably shouldn't have used Yoda's species like that in the first place.) Anyways, I don't know why specifically I started to think about this subject when I'm finally getting to the end of this Luke Skywalker video I started watching yesterday... But I did and it's frustrating. As mentioned, I already had issues with Grogu's growth/aging rate, but now that I'm really thinking about it, it ends up making less sense that I thought it did. And retroactively hurts my enjoyment of the first two seasons of Mando. Come on, a simple fix could be that he's like a 5yo human, but lost the ability to speak due to trauma. It would make sense. Then have him restore his ability to speak thanks to Mando being a father to him and helping him getting over his trauma over time. But no, better to keep the 50yo "Baby Yoda" cooing to sell toys. That's better for the story and overall lore. Imma stop before my rant stops making sense. I'd really like to have someone's opinion on the matter, to see if I'm overlooking something or if I'm right. Or something in between. Cheers from France! 🍻
honestly you know for a scoundrel archetype youd think han's mo would be to literally to fight another day and think pragmatically but it had to be obi wan of all people to give him advice on that
Her Majesty was a force of nature. She would have been one hell of a Jedi.
Now here is the real best character.
His Padawan is Deepa Palava
Thanks for keeping up the great work Kazi. When the algorithm has clogged my feed with doom and gloom, I know I can come back and get a cleansing dose of thoughtful analysis of my favorite characters. You put so well into words what many of us felt growing up and watching these films, the lessons they taught us and the examples they set are more than just silly space movies. Keep it real bro. ❤
Thanks, I'm truly glad you're enjoying the content. I just want to do these characters justice, I think they're awesome and making videos about them give people an outlet for something positive
I thought this video was 30 min😭
I wish they had just had Anakin kill her through his rage and not from a broken heart. It would have been the actual reason he turns to the dark side, he is alone, with no hope, by his angry evil choices. She was a strong character and deserved a better tragic end. It would have shocked the audience and made them realize that Vader was arrogant, selfish, and evil...
Standing 2 feet away from your decoy is really smart. Yeah I really believe she is smart.
The day 'democracy died' is when they elected a 14 year old queen to make military decisions.
Ultra Vegito is Padme but unlike Padme, Vegito does whatever necessary to win even if nobody will listen
What ideology Anakin express during the picnic scene with Padme, is an old philosophy from Greece called the Philosopher King, that is basically a dictator, someone old and wise, you take the lead and shut down any kind of dissidence, is was a very popular idea back in ancient Greece and the late Roman Republic, but the Greek city states learned the hard way that was a very bad idea, when a General and late politician take control of one of the city bringing his army and only caused a lot of bloodshed, you can say the same thing with Sulla, but Sulla was intelligent enough to see that he passed a line that he should not cross, and that would open the door to anyone to do the same.
Anakin is the most tragic character I’ve ever seen. He and Padmé especially deserved better. The Jedi and Sith only used him for their purposes.
Another great analysis. I was looking forward to this one, because I love it whenever someone looks past some of the surface awkwardness of the romance scenes and really gets into what makes Anakin and Padme click. You did not disappoint
Yeah, I don't understand how Anakin and Padme being somewhat awkward around each other is a bad thing. It makes perfect sense and is very enduring for some reason. Maybe it's because when you think of Anakin Skywalker you think of Darth Vader, a fearsome sith lord. So seeing him as a 19 year old boy who is nervous to be around a girl who he likes is very relatable and cute. Makes you forget who he becomes because at times, he's just like anyone else. As a 19 year old girl who has NO experience with boys at all, I'm pretty sure I'd be an awkward mess around a guy I have feelings for😂😂😂😂
Thank you, thank you! yeah I really wanted to tackle their love story head on, cause like you said sometimes I think people look past some of the scenes or just miss the bigger picture.
I know its not movies but you should do a series on guts from beserk
I get the dislike of Jar Jar, I get the dislike of "I hate sand," and parts of the prequels don't hit the highs of the OT, but Palpatine's master plan is brilliant and brilliantly written. Great job with the videos
Happy Star Wars Day! Love your content so much
Thanks, just trying to do my best
For me the biggest turning point of Anakin was the killing the Sand People. We all know he had a dark streak losing his mother and getting revenge was his first steps towards the dark side. Sure its one thing to fight and kill in a war but what Anakin did was pure murder he gave into violence and that set him on the path he’d take to becoming Darth Vader.
May the 4th be with you✨
May the 4th be with you.
Thanks, may the 4th be with YOU!
A new Character Analysis video being posted on May the Fourth, how appropriate
