  Thank for this helpful video. In France i will have 26 Children between 2,5 and 3 years old. I have only one person to help me. Child stay all day long from 8am to 4 pm. I feel like we are some barbarians..

  One idea with the spider song that I have done with 2 year olds: I attached the spider prop to some string and a stick, and then they could roll the spider up and down. Great video, loved the ideas!

  Thank you for this great idea! I use black beans or I dye white beans using acrylic paint and some fillers such as bottle lids, big googly eyes, pompoms, cotton balls, pegs, big paper clips and other small items so the children can play I Spy.

  Personally I’d make the area for your reading nook into a role play area, because it’s a small but pretty long space it would be great the make it into a castle, garden centre, nature area with faux plants, mini beasts/insects with some cards available to hunt them. Maybe the entrance could look like it has trees and vines, grass and plants on the walls, possibly a rain forest, fairy land, a dentist clinic, a greengrocer’s …my mind is now full of ideas 😂

  I have a question. So I am taking over a preschool class with one 18month child and the rest 2-3. They have a routine thats been in place for a year now. I understand that consistency is important but at what point can I introduce my own ideas without upsetting the balance too much? I am currently working with the teacher on how to slowly introduce me to the class so they become comfortable. Is it just a case of constant observation for when the time is right?

  Our preschool is located in a church and they have a large fellowship hall that we can use as a gym. We really are blessed to have that space since it rains a lot here.
