    Exactly my symptoms. Cylinder 5 code misfire was going to shell out 70 for one coil pack I don't think my auto dealer will have just the springs and boot. Thank you ❤ been going on a while now I can even hear the ticking of the unburned gas in my exhaust at idle as it is misfiring

    I am doing mine and I have realized that if you remove the felt covering as well as the vinyl, the covers fit perfectly and the silicone adheres better.

    I have two 07 F150 Harley Davidsons and the 08 F150 Harley Davidson.....at the moment i hate the 5.4L. too many cam phaser problems, timing chain problems, and overall transmission responsiveness. What is the fastest and most reliable ford engine???🙏🏼

    I'm having the same issue, I changed the throttle body new spark plugs new coil packs, And it still shutters at low speed, transmission was just replaced 2 weeks ago so it's shifting smooth, now I'm guessing if it's not a fuel injector maybe it's a torque converter

    No many times it actually never sets an engine light which is why people start freaking out thinking they have a u-joint or transmission issue. This is so common and it is usually never triggers a light often leading to a misdiagnosis.

    I want to LS swap my 11th gen. Coyotes are cool for toys... but I need my truck to work, and that means doing maintenance. I'd much rather have the engine bay room of an LS.

    That is one way it goes bad. Another one is that the spring inside the tensioner looses some of the tension it puts on the belt. Replace mine at 200k with the belt. New tensioner had twice the force as the one I took off. (Spring wore out)

    So no ones gonna mention the fact hes surprised a 5yr old headlight isnt the same quality as a brand new one out the box? Like it being cheaper is the issue and not it being in the elements for 5yrs 🤔

  • @3VJohnny
    @3VJohnnyАй бұрын

    Nope that's incorrect. It's the quality of the reflector lens internally. There is a major difference between OEM vs aftermarket

    I recently did my rack and pinion, inner and outer tie rod, four-wheel-drive, actuator, steering shaft, I have power steering pump, and now when I’m going into a curb or turn. If I do not slow down, or if I attempt to meet up even a fraction of 1 mph, I get a horrible shake in the front everything is tight and nothing seems to be alright… Any suggestions on what it could be? Or what I should check?

    so the hitch is weak or not strong enough??

  • @3VJohnny
    @3VJohnny2 ай бұрын

    Those trucks use a class IV hitch across the board. It has to do with Ford's rating of the rest of the truck. There were different sway bars, some years had cooling options included, gearing, frames, etc. Has nothing to do with the hitch. The max tow package as extra bracing on the hitch but those numbers are fairy tale numbers anyways.

    In my case it was my water pump pulley. I changed it last year. Now its a similar noise but the noise starts only after the engine runs for 10 minutes or so. I suspect the tensior pulley because it see some scratches on it which usually means its loose due to a bad bearing. Which means ill also need a new belt too

    I swapped one of my solenoids recently. It's super easy to remove tapping with a 32mm socket from the underside of the valve cover. Now. The removal of the valve cover was a big job. The vacuum line behind the intake got loose so I had to remove the entire thing to be able to put it back. But the truck runs really well now.

    Also not just the sound but new ones or ones that work properly dont spin 50 rotations like the worn out one which is clearly lost all of its grease, they spin 2 or 3 rotations around and very very quiet..you dont want either end of the spectrum, a seized one that doenst spin at all or one like that in the video that spins too much.

    Johnny, What were the symptoms telling you the hub was going bad? Partial engagement and lots of bad noises, or something else?

  • @3VJohnny
    @3VJohnny2 ай бұрын

    I am insanely sensitive to little changes so I had started noticing the steering felt looser and started suspecting the hub. From experience I know that I need to let it get worse before I know for sure and sure enough after a while I started getting the humming. So when you would turn to the left, it loads the right side putting pressure on that hub. It becomes a whirring sound. The driver side was actually failed as well but never made noise but had a ton of play.
