We are Rich & Samantha and we are very lucky to own 3 VW camper vans. We will be filming TRAVEL content and some Volkswagen Campervan / UK VANLIFE videos.
The basic idea of the channel is to inspire people to get themselves a campervan and travel to some of the places we have been.
We love it and hope that you do too !
Maybe you want to live in your van or maybe just go away at weekends.
We currently do a bit of both.
Van life is about freedom, exploration and living a simpler life.

Nice location. Would putting the roof up ok at the hurst park up?
@@solarrover9575 yes we saw a camper with the roof up. We had no problems sleeping there and will probably go back again
Hi do you remember what was your pitch number? we would like to visit this park because it has many attractions for children, but we are terrified by the number of negative comments about the old toilet block. That is why we would like to have an image of where you can stand to have access to the new toilets. Thank you
@@malgorzatarewers7469 we were on pitch RV2 but anywhere on the “paddock” camping is close to that toilet block. In fairness the 2 blocks aren’t far apart so even if your closest toilets were in the old block the new one is only one minute walk away anyway
Looks like a good spot as not blocking road and high hedge 👍 ❤ going to toilet middle of the night, especially #2 must be a nightmare as most car park toilets are locked at night? 🤔 Thanks for your video though gives van life people ideas of where they can stay overnight 😎🌄🐾🦥🏞️🌲🚐🥳🥳✌️xx

In fact, I wouldn't mind living there myself. Nice video. _Howver. Next time you get the chance to try FREE GIN, please collect a sample... Or ten..._ *_For me!_* 🤔😁👍

When precisely did you go? We went yesterday and I also attended a cat cafe in Liverpool. I am just about to upload some of my Romsey cat cafe videos. What did you think of it?

Take away the traffic and Farnham would be much better.
Blessed to have lived here for the last 20 years :) The church is a Abbey ha ha ...and the moody building is the museum inside side it tells you all about Mr moody :)

@@davidwaterhouse2552 yes it’s the 800 special which is 1.9 TDI. In fairness the basic 1.9 non turbo would be the slowest but it’s not quick by any means
The Kennet centre isn't new. It was built in the 70s/80s. Back in the 90s, it was a decent place to shop in. Now, half the units are empty and people seem to cut through it to get somewhere else. Currently, the centre owners are trying to get planning permission to redevelopment the whole Kennet centre except the cinema
Once the massive Asda and Tesco were put near the town the town died sadly ...in the 90s it was good .
@@missredumbrella the council needs to boost the centre somehow. It, like many other places, could be so good

It has taken all my life so far to be mortgage free and have properties for income and to live in. I finished up in a 20 roomed Regency Mansion yet I spend at least two nights a week sleeping in my van. It's nothing special and looks like an unadulterated Sprinter from the outside but the sense of freedom and quality of a good nights sleep is hard to beat. I live close to the Yorkshire Wolds and have dozens of places I can sleep and be totally undisturbed for the night without anyone knowing I was there. I wish I could commit to full time van life but that dream remains out of reach for the time being. Thanks for the upload.
I couldn’t agree more about the diesel heater, absolute game changer in the colder months we use our T5 all year round which would be impossible without one, we have an Eberspacher mounted under the floor so takes up no space and is silent, fuel use in about 5 hours per litre on low and power use is negligible. Nice van 👍🏻🇬🇧
Too bad you didn't cover the wheelarches. There is where the most noise is coming from! And instead of the rubber floor. I fitted the carpet one! And at last insulate the socket around the gearschifter. 👍👍👍

You should go down in August when they have the folk festival the whole place changes and the atmosphere is great. Ive gone to it for the last few years. Great video😊

You appear to have missed out the actual river Sid mouth which is a great place to visit and Jacobs steps at the far end of the promenade.

I'm 62 and holidayed in Seaton & Beer when I was 5yrs. I recently browsed Google maps on Beer and the water has still remained crystal clear...! And now you have another sub..! 👍

This place I’ve lived in for 35 years is the most unwelcoming town ever known to man towards campervans. There’s no way an outsider is parking anywhere near town or the beach. Don’t come here it’s awful. Shops are all dead. There’s more prostitution than punters. The council did this to us.
In France they welcome camper vans with open arms. Free parking for everyone so they all come and spend money in the town. Our councils need a rethink.
In my case it would be go in, have an asthma attack and wait for the ambulance! Total Catastrophe! 😂

Hello mate, we parked next to you in weymouth harbour car park, got ticketed for being there in a van. Ive spoke to a third individual who also had a vw van who also got ticketed for parking there, thought id reach out and let you know we plan on fighting the ticket based on the vans we were in not being classed as “motorhomes” as per the sign specifics, as well as the outward facing signage having no wording to explain what the differences were between the exact same image of a van in a red circle with a line thru it and a van in a green circle 🤷♂️ also swb t4s are under the 4.8metres (at 4.7m) also specified on the sign. Hope you fight it too. Its clearly a nice little earner for dorset council as it stands.
I wondered if you had got a ticket or left before they got there. We have parked there multiple times and never had a problem. Yes I’m fighting it too. I saw loads of T4,T5 and T6 with no tickets. What about a caravelle ? I might actually make a video about it. Hope we get let off or I’m never going to Weymouth again !
Thats exactly my sentiment towards it, I was fuming and said to my other half that if id of been there to see us get those tickets id of gladly paid it to have the opportunity to have a word with the car park ticket attendant and video him attempting to explain it to me. Either its going to go my way or im going to end up with the equivalent value in signage from said car park as “man cave art” for my garage. Eithers fine by me 😂
Update on this, they took pictures thru our side window of the “bedding” not the bed (as the bed was not set up/laid), the bedding and also our little sink unit in the back, keeping in mind it said vans altered for cooking, sleeping, & eating etc. with all that said id be interested to see how they got images of yours given it had darkly tinted windows and was in the seating format when you guys went of into weymouth. Let me know
Hello again. So today marks the day after the 6weeks they had to get back to us in regards to the car parking fine and we have heard nothing- presume its done and dusted and the appeal was successful. Any luck your end?
