  driving down Main St. …. going east into the north end of the city….Emerald St. …..unfortunately, not a good neighborhood. Never has been…very close to the steel mills.

  Scum bag downtown, too many people from the city, too much traffic, dirty and run down core area, full of migrants on the water front in the summer, full of international students, I could go on, but I am leaving anyway.

  Every major cities in Canada has their fair share of all that you've mentioned my friend. Every been to hamilton and downtown Toronto? To each is own but for me personally I would choose to live in Barrie compare to those other cities. Thanks For your comments and view and I really hope things gets better overall for you

  Barrie is not a major city! It is a big town. which the previous mayor let go to hell, the new guy hasn't done any better, Check out Midland and Orillia, much better, great improvements in both, anyway I am leaving so don't really care how bad it gets in Barrie.@@jcplivebytheminute
