This channel is focused on YOU, the content creator. If you've ever wanted to grow a channel or you've started one, but are not sure where to go. This channel will be the one to help you reach your goals.
I've had over 3 successful channels and 12 years of coaching experience. All those years were spent understanding KZread as well as the content the viewers want to see.
In short, a successful channel is when you can provide content that others want to watch. I'll be helping you form that content and package it so you can be on your road to success.

Interesting topic! Thanks for another great video, Coach! :D
I swear.... This video rings a very distinct bell 🤣
I figured it'd be a great follow up to the gaming channel video I released a day or two ago. Especially, because that was something I personally struggled with when I started. 😂
another banger!
After doing both, I for sure prefer KZread over Twitch. I love having more control over my content and not being worried about people not tuning in and talking to me and hoping to get viewers. On KZread, feel less stressful and have more freedom. Yea, you have to be a bit more consistent on KZread IMO, but I feel like you are more likely to reach people who can vibe with you on KZread.
I feel you on that, 100%. 😅
keep going! as a small channel I love to support other small channels!
Thanks for the support!
if you are reading this i hope your channel succeeds!❤️
I read every comment. Thank you for your kind words to everyone else who reads it. 🙂
also i suggest switching to a office chair to fit the mood
I thought about that, but I wanted to be different. Also, I have multiple channels so it'd be a hassle for each recording. 👀
thanks to youtube’s new update for small creators, your video came up on my recommended page. keep it up🔥
Thank you!
Great video and very helpful. It's nice to have a video like this from you about how to grow a gaming channel. I feel like you said some things I needed to hear. Even though you've already told me some things lol. It's always nice to have a refresher and now I can watch this video whenever I need to. Thanks, Coach Poppin! :D
Glad I could help! Yea, I think this video might have been long overdue. 😅
Amen!
Thank you for the advice!!!
Great info! Thanks again, Coach Poppin. :)
Another banger video!
I run a gaming channel mostly Wwe game content but i was wandering if i should expand to other games.
Depends on what you're wanting to expand for. Gaming is a bit more tricky because players swap from game to game. Which games were you thinking of?
@@CoachPoppinOften I want to play Street Fighter 6 when I get my ps5.
Oooh, solid game. Has a good chunk of playerbase it's something you can do. You'll have to standout though, any unique ideas?
@CoachPoppinOften no not really I was just planning to use a mic on the content I make on it.
Well, brainstorm some ideas. Best thing to do is ask yourself "Why would someone watch my content over someone else they follow if it's the exact same?"
If you guys wanna get your subscriber's opinions, create polls where they get to decide what they want based off of YOUR choices. That way you get to keep doing what brought them to the channel and they feel satisfied. However, don't overdo it or they will become TOO controlling to the point where your subscribers feel like they should have a say for every video.
Great video. I've never thought about this before because no one has ever asked me to make a certain video yet. Now I know not to fall into the trap. Thank you, Coach! :) Honestly from the title I thought the video was going to be about not stressing about how many subscribers you have and how many you lose or something like that haha but this was interesting.
Ooooooooooooooh looks like I have another video idea. That'll be coming next week for sure, thank you.
@@CoachPoppinOften Haha, no worries! I look forward to it. :)
Good video, definantly not something I was thinking about but very helpful to keep in mind
Yea, it was an interesting concept. I wanted to try something new and make a "guide" about a personal experience that I've gone through. I might do more like that, personal experience is always the best lesson.
Thank you!! INCREDIBLE insight!! You got gold here! ❤
Glad I could help!
Thank you for breaking this down. I was looking at this the other day trying to figure out how to read the analytics. I try not to focus too much on it since my channel is still new, but it's good to have knowledge of what to look for and how to improve.
No problem!
Great video, Coach! Helpful advice as always. Thank you. :)
I'm glad it's informative!
Loved this video and I think it's exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks, Poppin! :D
This helped a lot, i could not find what my trait was :)
Never thought about these different types of Burnout. This was helpful information in understanding what's really going on if it's me or maybe the content.
Thank you, King of KZread! 🙃 Excellent advice! Jokes on point! Thank you for doing what you do! 🥳
One of the benefits of gaming(at least in most games), you can use the stage backgrounds for your thumbnails if you can't find any good ones on Google.
True. Some in game graphics are not that good, but loading screens make a great background. Honestly, concept art does too.
Got a tip! When it comes to copywrite image.... If you do a Google image search and get your results: click tools - click usage rights - and you'll have two options (creative commons license & commerical and other licenses) - these images are free from copywrite issues and all can use to their heart's intent ❤
This is great advice! thanks for all the hard work 😅
Thanks for the review poppin
No worries, you have something special. I can't wait to see you succeed more than you already have. You got this!
Yea I do need to start putting the images of what I’m saying on the screen 😂
I’m righting all of this down
Yea I do be free ballin with the videos
I’m bout the name changing lol I promise this the last time
LMAO! It'll help a ton, for real!
😪 "Promo sm"
Not sure I understand. 🤔
Love it! Thank you.
Absolutely love it!! 🎉❤ Thank you!
Great guide loften I’ll definitely be making sure I’m following all 3 steps
Great advice as always. Thanks, Coach! :)
Amazing video! Thank you! Here I thought it was a deep dive on Do's and Dont's and examples of those. It wasn't, but that's perfectly okay. Hey - Question - Are you gonna do a video about "smooth topic transitions?" You know what you did. 😉😆🫶
I think for Do's and Don'ts, I may keep them in reviews of channels. That way we have real examples right there on screen. I want to keep these as bite-sized guides, especially for on-the-go. However, I'm going to keep that in mind. Also, I like the idea of a topic transition video. I might have to see about that one. 👀
This is great information!!!
Glad it helps!
Coach Poppin- Thank you for the deep dive and all the information pertained in this viseo.. the comparison between to the two was really helpful to illustrate your statements. My notebook is slowing filling up! PS - that shirt and that specific tie is TOTALLY🤌🤌 @StarryFox - Thank you for allowing poppin to put your channel under the microscope! So much help for you, and me, and (points to general audience - and you, and you, and you!) 😂🎉❤❤❤
Yea, I thought putting it side by side would help. Glad you thought so too!
@@CoachPoppinOften Definitely!
Thank you so much for reviewing my channel! You give a lot of helpful advice and make a lot of good points. I'll be sure to try and apply it to my channel. You helped me become confident enough to talk in my videos so thank you for that. 😊
You got this, you're doing great!
Great video! I've already messed up my channel with number 3 lol. I appreciate your knowledge on this topic. :)
Smaller channels have the luxury of messing up. No worries at all about it, that's why it's important to catch it sooner than later. When you have a consistent audience that expects a specific type of content, that's when you could be in trouble. However, right now you're just in the experimental phase. 🙂
@@CoachPoppinOften Thank you so much! That's great to know. :D
Thank you for the tips!! ❤🎉 I added them to my ever-evolving notebook!
Yw! Glad I can help.
Nice video loften and niche really does play a big roll I’ve seen countless pages die over switching niche
Yea, it's rough. Sometimes creators may not figure out what they want until it's too far down the rabbit hole. (doesn't mean the channel can't be saved)
