  There's historically been many, many fights between the Khmer and Thai. Ayutthaya was in fact destroyed by the Khmer and the Thai people had to found a completely new capital city, Khrung Thep, which was also the beginning of the Chakri Dynasty. The Khmer were absolutely brutal against the Thai people historically. Thai culture is in fact very different to Laos culture, but Isaan culture of the NorthEast of Thailand is nearly the same as Laos culture and they speak a similar language.

  ❤❤❤🇱🇦 I use to rep the three head elephant Laos flag until i knew what the current one stand for 🇱🇦 the top red represent Laos. The bottom red represents Lao blood that’s separated from us by river ie. Issan Lao ever since then I grew to respect the new Lao flag
