  This was on channel 11 late night in New York and I must have watched every episode 10 times as a teenager. Never missed til I went off to college. Love the upload 👍

  It always brings a tear to my eyes when Alice forgives Ralph. What a concept that Jackie came up with in all these shows. Never really making fun of religion, nationality, or others’ persona. Mostly about 13:08 himself.

  He is so hilarious when he goes on air. His face is deadpan. Jackie Gleeson was the Greatest. Best comedian ever. Better than Carlin Truly the GOAT. And never mean spirited but always hilarious. Baby, you're the greatest! 💕

  I watched this show as a teenager in the 1980s because I loved ed Norton. I thought he was sweet and funny. But then I met both of them the year before Jackie died and he was the sweetest person. The actor who played Norton was a bit antisocial but now I read he suffered depression. I fell in love with the lovable Jackie and realized he was a gentle giant so I watched these shows for Jackie from that point on. I am a huge Jackie Gleeson fan. He reminds me of my Dad. My father was Irish. He died 2 years ago at Christmas. I am so grateful to Jackie Gleeson for all the laughter he gives me.
