Excellent video for a mechanically stupid individual like myself. The only thing, which I could be wrong is the bps handle thing you said would face backwards. I believe (at least that is how we have always used the stock ones) are a grab bar of sorts like the pro drive bar but smaller when running the tiller left and right fast trying to get moving in super nasty shallow situations. Granted the newer ones like yours typically don't have much issue getting up and going but on my old 35 I've had to use that a good bit. Then again my boat is a damn barge and underpowered and heavy and it is location dependent. Correct me if I am wrong though, either way thanks for the in depth video brother.

Did you have to do any modifications to get that motor to fit with the support brace in the back?
Good question. The motor will come with an 1/2” aluminum plate that the motor screws press against. I had to cut the center of that out and use the two pieces like washers. Ultimately no modification to the motor or boat short of drilling two holes for the standard motor bolts to go through the transom.
I have the same gun and it rust every time I take it out and don’t oil right when I get back home. Does yours do the same ?
Sure does hahaha
Turbine aircraft oil works good for preventing rust on these benelli’s. Put some on a rag and wipe it down good. If it has a slight shine that’s fine
@@brentniedermeier5272 that is a great tip. Thanks so much!!!
I’ve never seen anyone wear 6 layers before lmao don’t think I’ve ever worn more then 3 and that’s down to 0 degrees
It’s just the options that Sitka offers. Actually only wear three. Base, mid and jacket. Bottom is base, insulation and waders
10-4 I love my sitka great review I’d love to get the waders but they don’t come in my size
Honestly high and dry are likely just as good. The mind plays tricks when you’re trying to be all “matchy matchy”.
