  too much unnecessary preparation equip magic enhancement on Tio, mentality on Elena(heal the party), item recovery on Mareg and Strength on Ryudo the battle can be easily finished within 5 to 7 rounds

  Actually a pain in the neck fight, if Melfice decides to only spam Demon Hoarde Slash. Stram and Diggin go a fair ways to reducing the damage he inflicts. Millenia's Spellbinding Eye can buy you some breathing room if you're getting overwhelmed. .... I swear I've had fights go on for 15 minutes before Melfice just decides to end it <_<

  If you're going for the platinum trophy you have to beat Melfice on Hard, and ONLY Ryudo can deal damage....

  he's hard enough to KILL ON NORMAL mode and sadly NO Grandia game to DATE has NG+ option and I won't attempt hard mode WITHOUT it.

  Dragonzap is super effective against Melfice and can damage the sword and regenerator heavily, only downside is it doesn't have the cancel effect.

  this labyrinth is really easy to train your character. at the beginning of the labyrinth just enter, fight, then get out and enter again to fight. repeat it until your characters all reach LV40

  Always though that lotus flower, for AOE + cancel was pretty strong, but never imagine someone to actually use it :D good job haha

  Yeah my stars go flying in random direction and the 1 out of 19 I threw that hit him went right through him. Gotta be some kinda cheat because you cant lock on to him

  I guess I'm lucky.. I wasnt suprised first time Ive fight him.. like oh I can lock into him.. Then I got the tanto then got an idea that maybe I could "cheese" him in first phase

  Final upgrade of shuriken is powerful but consumes 2 spirit emblem so you'll sacrifice more health using tanto..

  You have to fight him first where there is a dialogue.. You can die intentionally if you want then on your 2nd attempt you can now lock on him
