Une série magnifique, un personnage magnifique ! Le scenario est d'une beauté incommensurable avec une profondeur d'une subtilité magique… La première saison de Westwood est un pur chef d'œuvre !

You know how the people who painstakingly make these shows also painstakingly create their music? And edit and rework that music to perfectly support and punctuate the scenes they play in? Yeah you can’t do that. Shoving your music over these scenes detracts from both.

Perhaps they only had Mr. Hopkins for one season; perhaps they could not afford him for longer; but once they killed him the show went completely downhill into unwatchable garbage

What is it with American movies and tv shows especially trying to picture the creator character as someone potentially evil or at the very least, so grey? I don't know, I feel like there is an attempt to suggest the idea that the creator is not so good. This show almost puts me in a dream like state. In the back of my mind, I remember the image of a creator figure. But my feeling towards that idea... I don't know, no matter how ambiguous a situation may present itself, even if I do not understand or sometimes I even condemn certain situations I go through, or feel a very rebellious emotion in certain times... I just, I just have this gut feeling, it's an intuitive feeling that I cannot all the way blame the creator. Evil? Good? I think it depends on the lens through which you want to see something. And I don't know. Sometimes, I cannot justify why a certain bad thing happens, I cannot find excuses for it. But I just have a gut feeling and a sort of empathy feeling towards someone like a creator being. That gut feeling is not a bad one. I can't explain things, but I feel caring towards that figure. And protective. And maybe it is only natural to feel that way.

Ford wanted to be a writer. He wanted to inspire the imagination. Unfortunately books lost their mass appeal, in favour of the silver screen, and the entire human imagination became redundant. He thought he could re-inspire with the park, but it was like getting people to eat grass in order to re-activate the appendix.

8:33 Delores: Dreams are the mind telling stories to itself. They don't mean anything. Ford: No, dreams mean everything. They are the stories we tell ourselves of what could be, who we could become. My father told me to be satisfied with my lot in life. That the world owed me nothing. And so, I made my own world. I wonder if I'm the only one that doesn't believe Ford actually died in Westworld.

Anthony Hopkins is the truth. Just so relaxed, yet his intensity is always lurking just under the surface. Like an old philosopher, shaman, guru, etc. I've seen him in enough movies over the years to say that he's gotten better as an actor, and he was very good back in the late 60's and 70's in The Lion in Winter, opposite Peter O'Toole and Kate Hepburn. Or TV movies like QB VII, if that's the correct title. Or Magic, where he played a deranged ventriloquist (fun but very creepy). I'd love to see him in a stage production of Shakespeare, like Titus Andronicus, which he did a few years back. He's on a level with Brando or Day-Lewis, but has a totally different style. Need to see The Father soon. Just the best...
