  It must have hard for Frau Von Hammersmark. Both sets of anti-nazis screw up their cover. She literally tried to cover for them but the Germans werent complete morons. Just the facial expressions of the cpts group and aldos group tells you how bad their situations actually were.

  Has a native born german, with just the first sentence of fassbenders character. Im like, he doesn´t sound german at all. Every bit of germany, every region and well sometimes every little village has its on accent. If you are a native german you notice imidiatly where someone come from. Just take "Ich" / "me" for example, in North germany(Berlin) its "ike" in the south Bavaria its "Iee" to the west its "ich" but pronounced completly different.

  For me, this scene is a perfect satire on Hollywood and their over-reilance on hiring non-native speakers to speak a language they're not native in, like Russian or German. Here, Fassbender's accent when he tried to speak German almost gave him away. Hollywood should take notes.

  I wonder what would happen should Hicox and Stiglitz act more friendly towards Wilhem, not triggering the whole situation that would catch Hellstrom's attention and drive him into inquirying, and then catching Hicox offguard on his ruse. Tarantino movies are always a full lot of "what ifs" that make it impossible to predict what will happen in the next second, or scene, so that shouldn't be surprising, hehe.

  I like how the camera transitions so abruptly when the ss major first speaks. We expect everyone in the bar to be of a lower rank than the spies, so when the major interrupts, the camera shifts and there is a huge silence, it’s like we’re in a completely different scene. I don’t know what the significance of that is though, maybe it’s because the major was supposed to be doing something else and him crossing paths with them wasn’t supposed to happen, not even in the script

  not at all, well the munich guy doesn't have a lot of lines but it's a very distinct accent and frankfurt (till schweiger is actually pretty famous in germany) has 0 accent and it should be very distinct aswell. maybe it's just a play on the guy noticing birth places even when there is very little or no accent at all
