  My dad bought me a BMP 250SG in 83 when I was 13. I still have it. If you are interested in an era specific rod for it, I also picked out a USA Made 5'6" Fenwick Eagle Graphite pistol grip rod at the same time I picked out the reel.

  Nice pair. Nice choice. Since moving to Florida Ive sorta been forced to move over to spinning reels just for the ease of cleaning the salt off. The bigger fish snagged me into moving from fresh to salt. Plus, never knowing what is on the other end of the line. I loved what you have for fresh water though.

  I have a gmc terrain 2016 and the radio don't have pandora and bluetooth on the screen only can pair with the phone , somebody can help me with this please!!

  I just got one same year, but it’s a SLT, it came with Pandora and Bluetooth, I just can’t figure out how to use the USB🤦🏾‍♀️

  GMC's big on outside, small on inside. Weak 4 cylinder power to haul weight or to pass. Made in Ontario with aluminum blocks, so turbo 4 is sometimes too much heat and warps heads. But you can talk dealers down to 12,000 on the standard 4 cylinder front wheel drive. AWD or 4WD with the 6 cyl. gets terrible gas mileage, but it's a considerable trade-off that I prefer. Now, if only the gas tank was on the left, my Wife would stop collecting gas pump handles. (2 so far).

  Do all 2016 SLE1 models come with remote start? If not, is it just a matter for programming a keyfob or will a receiver box need to be installed in the vehicle too? I keep getting mixed answers on this.

  My dad bought me one of those in 1987. I thought the Mag Plus was so fancy for it's time! The reel still casts great to this day. I keep it on display in my fishing room.

  Someone gave me one of these saying it didn't work. I took it apart and got it working. It's one of my favorite reels now. Mine doesn't have the clicker, though.

  So far it has been a good vehicle. The earlier ones had timing chain problens and problems of shifting out of first gear due to some shift selenoid or something. The 2016 seems to, so far, be the best year for this model, and the last year they stuck a v6 in unless that has changed recently. 4 cylinders are have come a long way on torque, but turbo 4's sometimes you have to watch what octane gas to use or you get the infamous pinging noise or shuddering.

  My late father had a BMP350SG. It's a high line capacity reel. I don't think he liked it because it was so heavy duty and we usually just fished T rigged worms. But I can see how it would make a nice reel for deep cranking or big swimbaits. I cleaned and lubed it and I'm going to give it a try with big lures.

  KEMeltonNANA During the Spring and Summer it is probably Brighthouse Field, or Spectrum Field now, for baseball games. Fireworks are usually around 9pm on weekends.

  If you make the bolt longer and put a piece of aluminum tube just past the outside end, you won't have to put your hands in the cups. Good for those with big hands. That's how I made mind. Thanks for a clever idea!

  OBX Fishing yeah, I agree. I was trying to make it to fit in one small box. I know you can buy this kind of thing retail for like $12. I was making it for like $4, plus I ate lots of pudding, but throw in ebay fees, a box, tape, etc. Pudding price, and it just wasnt worth the $2 profit. If you could mass sell it maybe.

  Looking at the wrapping, that rod has to be an Ugly Stik, as I have two of them. Pistol grip, two-piece rod 5.6" long. Very durable rods. I've had mine for over 20 years (same setup as the Rick, with a Shimano Bantam reel) and have caught a lot of bass on them. Couple of the best, vintage combos I own.
