I'm confused I do everything exactly opposite to your suggestion. I water it all the time because it seems to always be thirsty, I put it in direct sun because it's growing faster for me that way. My problem is, that it's getting leggy and I don't know how to fix it.

Your English is fantastic! The only thing that gave away that you might have been struggling was that smile/laugh that you get when you are concentrating on saying something perfectly-and I’m sure that no one has ever been bothered by your smile! I am an ESL teacher and I am very impressed with how you pay attention to the exact pronunciation of each word. In my experience this kind of attention to perfection is what leads to top level fluency. Well done. Great video, great info, thanks!

How much is the United States? This is an incredibly irresponsible choice for a garden because it is destroying the understory of many wilderness areas. I hope people consider this greatly before they would ever buy this plan and even consider removing it from their yard if they have it already.

It's the only plant I've never managed to keep alive. Very prone to pests also. And it is one of my favourite plants 😢

I grew fatsia japonica from seed and they germinated within 20 days. I planted 30 seeds and 29 turned into little fatsias! Very easy to grow from seed

Do you recommend bottom watering the Fatsia? To reduce overwatering I found my plant likes being bottom watered.

I'm sorry to say but there is no such thing as over watering, if your soil drains well and you have drainage holes in your pot you really can't "over water" it unless you go nuts and give it a drink everyday 😅 Essentially when watering a plant you want water to flow or of the bottom of the pot that is how you know you are thoroughly satisfying the soil without leaving dry spots. That is how you give a plant root rot by only proving slight moisture and not enough for the roots to use before they dry out again causing them to die off and rot.

Redbud trees are a beautiful tree but after they get several years on them they will start dropping limbs everywhere and they will split and break apart. We had about an acre of redbud and they were great until they started dropping limbs and splitting apart it was the biggest mistake we ever made planting trees if you want only a couple that's ok but be prepared to pick up limbs after several years.

Does it need to be planted with the base of the plant even (flushed) with the top of the pot, or slightly above the top of the pot? Or, I guess I’m asking how deep to plant it?

This plant is native here in Brazil, so keeping it away from wind also prevents the leaves from drying out! great video!

Invest in a fan to improve circulation/flow. Start wiping the leaves down once/twice a week with clean cloth to help remove any possible build up.

Hi guys! I ordered a flamethrower redbud online, but it’s just a stick without any budding, no branches, no leaves! I did cut the top to see if any sign of life, and there is some small green in the center. Any tips to help it grow, would be much appreciated!!!

I live in New Hampshire and this State also has a ban on the beautiful Burning Bush as an invasive plant. Well let me tell you that that is a big crock. We've had three (3) beautiful Burning Bushes in our garden for the past 20/30 years and neither one of them have spread. People comment on them continuously when they turn color. Next spring, I will try to propagate some to transplant in other areas of the garden. These bushes are NOT invasive and I wish they would stop promoting falsehoods.

EXTREMELY invasive. Banned in a number of states. There is a beautiful native version called Eastern Wahoo ( Euonymus atropurpureus) that is a much better option.
