If only Ford had used the 427 instead of the 390 the Comet and Fairlane road cars. Instead the 390 Comet and Fairlanes were constantly beaten at the drag races.

Sorry no credits to the camera man. The end was suspenseful because the camera man was looking for UFO’s or something.

I used to work for Phil Bonner in Cumming GA. He was a great guy. Real cool guy. Many talks we had. He actually couldn’t find his T Bolt and asked me to help him to locate it. Someone I don’t know how, but I did in the back of a machine shop in the same area of town. I’m not sure if he was able to buy it back but he had the lead.

I know that low 9 second run probably felt like a 6 flat at 250mph. I know it would have been faster without the wheel stand on the launch, but it looked so cool 😎. I can't believe how awesome these cars were in the 1960's. It's still hard to wrap my mind around, over 600hp available in the 1960's. Truly awesome 👌

616hp was a conservative rating so as not to raise too many eyebrows when running in stock and super stock classes.

Nothing sounds like a 427 side oiler, never knew a BB could eing like that, God Almighty what's that baby putting out for horse at 9 grand. Parquet used to shift at 9200 RPM,s damn .

Geez those 427 scammers wind, sounds like a SB but with all the BB hp and torque. The 64 T bolt put fear in every GM, mopar and chrysler driver that ever lined up on the opposite lane cuz you knew deep down you,d ALREADY LOST.
