had a JodyJazz DV Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece and the gold on reed table started corroding, really upset about that for as much as the mpc cost. so went to theo wanne mpc's and never looked back. the gaia seems to be my focus now.

Nice! I'm just exploring the Theo Wanne mouthpieces and happened to stumble upon your vids. I have no idea which model and size I need. Any ideas? I'm super stoked to see (and hear) that you're living the dream! Congrats and all best to you on your future endeavors!

If you’re going for a Theo wanne Durga mouthpiece, I’d recommend a 8 tip opening (.110) or a 7*(.105) those are generally the tip openings most people prefer. Definitely get 2.5 and 3 strength reeds to decide which combo is best.

Durga gets a huge edgy and powerful sound while still having body and core. If that’s the type of sound you like, definitely go for the Durga!
