Larry Csonka, a classic 6-3, 235-pound line-smashing fullback, who provided the major rushing thrust in the Miami Dolphins' vaunted ball-control offense when the team was dominating the National Football League in the early 1970s. Also starring in his own TV show traveling North to Alaska.

Even as a fresh faced rookie Larry was as Larry is,straightforward, unwavering and committed. The GOAT fullback of all time, showed what his adversaries were in for.No fear,no bull, just a well raised man from Stow ,Ohio.Thank You Larry .You've made us proud!! Hondo

Not taking the bait. ❤❤ He wants to do his best . Cliches are a young players friend and they should stick with them .
Fins up! Best wishes from northern peninsular fans at the Seward yacht club!
Larry Csonka is what football is all about.Absolutley THE GOAT OF FULLBACKS

Thank You both for a great program. Now I can see why Larry left Stow! God Bless ,Hondo Onusic
I have made four trips into this fishing camp on the Good News river. Never disappointed in the fishing and the quality of service. Mike Gorton and his staff do a wonderful job. Much credit to Ron Hyde, from Anchorage, who was the original operator.
Listening on3/1/24
Dude was a beast...look how thick his wrists are
Pathetic Larry. Your mother brought you up wrong. Oh well
What about south Georgia ?
i doubt it, i bet he was kickin butt by 2nd grade, maybe third at the latest
Why are old planes better? I’ll tell you why. Because old planes were built better
The heart & soul of that Dolphin dynasty. Thanks for the amazing memories Zonk!!!
What do you do with a bear you kill??
The dc3 on the video at the beginning is Definitely 1940s I know the usaf used dc3’s/c47 in till 2009 that I know of.
Birds are very special animals.
Served at 44sqn in the SAAF where we had Daks and Skymasters. Amazing aircraft.
Same reason why I still drive a 2006 car. Because It still runs well.
Ketchikan here. 1st time I haven't seen the pan buttered first, or Sour cream mixed with the mayo, and no bread crumbs or crushed crackers on top? Love the amount of onions!
Where's the breadcrumbs?
Excellent!
A Great football player and a Finer Man !
Beautiful fish. Beautiful background. Beautiful people. Thank you.
Minimal demand + harsh conditions + minimal support infrastructure = old, small, rugged planes.
That Pinnel and Tolifson ad in the back of outdoor magzines was the stuff of dreams. Im lucky to say Ive hunted Kodiak a few times. Dreams do come true.
I hope they bring back the classic race next year.
Hello all I'm from Anchorage, Alaska as well. wow i see most people on this trhead is from Alaska. hahah cool bean. I live in South Anchorage,
These are great aircraft and I would kill to fly each and every one of them. Dear FAA. The kill part should be noted as an obvious joke.
Didnt really explain WHY they still use them.
All Alaska Outdoors, Bob Ledda is the the guy you want for a adventure of a lifetime. He’s got great packages he puts together price is reasonable, staff exceptional, others he works with are exceptional. Looking forward to next year
Allen, his wife and staff are exceptional people. Looking forward to next year once again.
Never thought I would have this opportunity to talk to you. Dr. Herb. Virgin , the Dolphins doctor during your undefeated season 1972 saved me in 1956....a terrific human being. My tanker was in port of New Orleans and I got to see you play in Super Bowl 6 at Tulane Stadium. I see you are also a fan of the DC3. You may be aware that there are three C47s based in Miami at Opalocka Airport used to handle cargo daily to the Bahamas and Carribean. Glad to see you are still kickin and healthy. Regards, WC dolphins
DC 3 still very popular after 70 yrs or so. So someone should start building them again...call em Z time ; but one would have to get the fuel situation under control again; otherwise large radial engines would be through all over the world.turbines cost too much!.
You know you have a good deckhand when they hate letting the big ones go lol this trip is def a dream of my!!
Great show!
Rudolph is tasty.
Loved watching Larry run over people. On the football field!
Happy birthday to you,sir.12/25/22
Thank you for sharing this.I went through a lot,as an individual who was diagnosed with a mild form of cerebral palsy.
Ez érdekes volt. Arany János: AZ Ó TORONY 2. versszak: "Csonka torony nyúlik a felhőbe, Rajta pihen a nap lemenőbe': Rá-ráveti visszanéző fényét, Mintha látnám ősapáim vérét. "
Hunter's who drag a film crew around filming their hunt usually go home empty handed. Instead of concentrating on the hunt, everyone is playing to the camera and worried about how the filming is going. Too much of a distraction.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
What’s that music in the backround?

But very informative to someone, like me, who doesn't know a lot about Alaska.
