My sister taught my mom, and my mom taught my wife, and now I cook something similar except I use lawrys enchilada mix and hamburger then I stack it like pancakes and put a layer of meat a layer of cheese a layer of onions and another 3 layers and cook it for 10 minutes this makes enough for me Yours looks better but I'm lazy😊

I just used a standard soy sauce. Can't remember the brand off the top of my head, but it's one I picked up from an Asian Market. I think any light or dark would work. The taste is similar, dark is mostly used for color in most dishes.

Yes Dude!! Been doing this one for years. It tastes great and it's easy- leave out the taco "seasoning" which is about a dollar and it's mostly flour, salt and some chili powder. don't need that. so, do the chicken, just the beans, some onions, cilantro and water with chicken bouillon -I like the "Better than Bouillon" brand of "roasted chicken"...(again, optional) (cheap). put it together just like you are saying and just add the freshies and all is good (and Bidenomics prooof)-MF.....I hope we all remember how to vote on November 5th or us country folks cant survive....

Lentils are also cheaper than beans and taste just like them when cooked, if you *really* need to stretch it. Seitan can also be used to help stretch the chicken out, as it's cheap to make at home.
