Ronaldo Phenomenon had the dream to be the best in the world and to win the world cup and he did that perfectly. The stars of Brazil don't have the Phenomenon greatness.
Man, you literally said every Brazilian player is from favela. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Of course not. Favelas, suburbs, countryside and coast are distinguished things.
fun fact: ronaldo, neymar, ronaldinho, pelé, romario, garrincha are not from favelas.
Something interesting about favelas, is that its are a community without walls, like..no one have nothing worth stealing, and stealing inside a favela is a big crime, where the movement (Organized crime) can sentence you to death for disturbing peace, So everyone leave their doors unlocked, they pass the day sitting on the porch, watching the neighboors, everyone knows everyone and their mothers, its common for people enter your house, and after they entered, they clap their hands calling you, its common for a retired old women care for a bunch of neighbor kids when their parents working, and these parentes care for this retired person health, everyone helps everyone...and fights everyone too ahahhaha its not a fairy tail, theres a bunch of altercations, but everything is so compressed in each other
in the hood football is like gaming, people complain about toxicity in gaming you cant even imagine how is the competitiveness of football in the hood, its not just about the goal, its how you made it, how pretty it was, how humiliating to other player it was, is he crying? good... he is pissed off? awesome! The ball and the ground is the only thing kids are granted to have in the favelas, so everyone pay attention to it, if you play the best, the girls will notice you, the other kids will like to have you around, and if you have the proper swag you will be the king this enviroment selects and refines talent, the biggest representative of this spirit is Romario
This summary that great players come from favelas is not true. Poverty does not create anything, on the contrary, it destroys. We Brazilians know what the secret is and it is in soccer schools in every neighborhood and has nothing to do with favelas in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil is continental in size and soccer is a whitewash that goes from childhood to adulthood and aging. But it is in clubs that soccer, through children and adolescent talents, that players or ex-players, with the vision to find a good talent, a diamond to be polished, these are the first to find a good soccer player and invest in them . The investment ties the apprentice to the financial gain from selling the future soccer player's pass. Boys dream of a career as a successful soccer player and businessmen here are called SCOUTS, which translated would be a professional man who knows how to find a young soccer player with a bright future. Poverty in Brazil is not related to favelas because diverse Brazil is little known in the USA. In every city we have upper, middle and poor classes. Stating that soccer players come from favelas is STEREOTYPE. Soccer is actually Brazil's favorite sport, but there are others such as volleyball, in which Brazil has already stood out, and also other sports. But the truth is that the secret lies in the SCOUTS who make loads of money training future football players, or in the clubs that invest in young talents, aiming to make money with these players, whether through games in packed stadiums, or through the sale of your passes. In other words, in short, there is no idea that football players came from the favela. An example is Neymar, his father is his supporter. Some soccer players come from middle-class families, either because their parents support them. But, with or without support, when a young man knows that his gift is playing football, he abandons everything to live his dream. But the poor young player certainly suffers more to reach the top of several young players and stand out above the rest. I have a nephew who stands out and we are middle class, all educated and well off here in Brazil and we support our nephew's dreams, but always showing that the career is fast and that when you reach the top, do like RONALDO FENÔMENO, invest in business , real estate because here in Brazil, as in the USA, the already famous and rich young man forgets that everything is temporary and that his career is similar to a flash of lightning, time passes quickly and everything he earns he needs to have the head to invest and he must have a family with solid financial thinking so as not to end their days in absolute poverty.....
Their secret? The ginga style

IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, none of these players were actually raised in a favela. They certainly had humble origins, but for example Pelé and Garrincha had a "country" background, coming from small hinterland towns , not urban big cities where favelas are located. Neymar, R9 and R10 had lower middle class backgrounds and never lived in a favela. Suburban for sure, but they didnt live in a favela. Rivaldo was certainly poor, but then again, not exactly in a favela.
Sim, a maioria não veio das favelas
Yeah I was thinking about commenting this too but decided to await for tomorrow and make some search on social media about the places of those guys birth before. Ronaldinho comes from Porto Alegre, don't even know if they have a favela in there, and if they do, of Ronaldinho was born in one. Ronaldo is from Itaguai, don't know if is a favela.
@@memysurname7521 There are no favelas there, few Brazilian players come from favelas, many people have the stereotype that the whole of Brazil is a favela but it's not quite like that
Really good video!! Have you looked into Toxoplasmosis ans its effects on footballers?
“Life in the favelas is alien to us in the West”. Since when is Brazil in the East? Nothing like Europeans appropriating half of the Earth in casual speech
I’m blocking you. What a nothing sandwich of a video.
I failed to see how are we wrong abou Saudi Arabia ? you spent 10 minutes telling us what we already know ! what a waste of time.
Neither Ronaldo, nor Ronaldinho nor Neymar came from slums.
Neymar and Ronaldinho dont come from favela,
I like this video but please change the thumbnail picture lol the current one is freaky af
Brazilian here; very good analysis in the case of football. However, I would like to make a point about how this affects Brazilian poverty because for 1 Ronaldo millions of kids simply do not make it. Considering that 55% of all players that make it in Brazil earn just the minimum wage (about 285 US$). It's an unattainable goal to become a star for the majority of these kids, and not worth it. Pursuing an education and having other safe bets it's essential for growth within the community. Football is to be celebrated but education should be the main goal. (Not to go on for hours about poverty, corruption, inequality, slavery, the Portuguese and mismanagement that ultimately have caused this.)
In Brazil its football or crime
You forgot vini and cacimero
How could you forget vini Jr 😮
All new Brazilian footballers need discipline and they can win the world cup in 2026
They have 230 million people- So its normal they have good players- Also- its misery or football- There are small countrys who produce in racio more talented players.
Since the excuse is the number of inhabitants, tell me why Nigeria with the same number of inhabitants as Brazil and Mexico with more than 120 million inhabitants are not the same as Brazil? These are two countries where football is a religion and have thousands of inhabitants.
@RHSilvaXD Those countries shouldn't treate football as a religion. Is just a sport. They should search for Jesus instead, while they have time.
The brazian football player Kaká was not poor, he was not from favela and he was the best in the world 2007. And why Colombia is not so good if mas the same problems ant chalenges?
Ya kaka was from rich family
طيب شتبي الحين؟
Love your videos 1 quality video per month is good! Keep it up!
I also think playing on sand and beaches is a big factor. The muscles that you develop in your lower legs and feet doing this are unreal. It's why I think players from hot beachy countries generally have better control and first touch of the ball.
Uau, very hood explanation. Thank you for thus video
Great video, Saudi are trying to diversify from oil, they rely too much on oil as their main export. I made a similar video to this on my channel
i want to travel there
Neymar is the king of dribbling because what fifa give him because of that, he never give Ronaldinho 😅
We're the best! Go CORINTHIANS
2100? Where do you pull those numbers from? According to some estimates if they keep the same pace of extraction they have oil for 9 years which means in 2033 it will be all over for them
South America is the best at soccer. We own the ball, the trophies and the heart of soccer
Ronaldinho and Neymar were not raised in slums.
And Venezuela just tied with them
Great video, actually did your research and not just come out and screamed "sports washing" for 10 minutes
They WERE good at football!
i legit did not know that vini was brazilian
Thanks for explaining why are brazilians so good at football.😀
Germany knows
I hope to one day visit Brazil and play with a bunch of strangers just for the love of the sport... And they have so many variations of it. I want to try them all before I can no longer participate 😢
This video puts everything into perspective. Its about the money, power and fame. Awesome video mate.
Kaka was not from a favela. Most players listed are not from Rio. Stereotypes
There are favelas outside of Rio. Inclusive the city of São Paulo is the one with the bigger number of favelas on Brazil. But yeah, don't know how much of those guys did really come from favelas.
The king pele hello
Are you sure that the arabics will finish their oil after 77 years from now on? What if is a wrong calculation? 🤔 🤔 🤔 🧐 🧐 🧐
So after saying that messi is the greatest you still show my goat c ronaldo in the middle others sorrounded him, they did so because he was the goat 🐐
Haters and western countries always think they control this universe, this is the end bitchs
The first time I saw videos of barefooted street football, I thought it was Brazilian Favelas but to my surprise, it was Angolan Favelas, though an ocean apart you can see where Brazilians inherited and perfected their amazing footwork, Brazilians and Angolans share a common ancestor hence the similarities.
