I wonder how Lou Reed in these years would go over with today's music audience if solo Lou was doing his thing now?

Heroine is not great. It's death. I think, 50% of my dearest friends died from it, during the 80/90s. They are still missed after all these years. Reed was an unique personage translating the rush into words. Rest in peace, my friends.

Tina Turner is such a gift! Just her stance, foot flip, body language between songs speaks of her beautiful strong character. Hail To Her! And Yes, The Man, Ike. Both sacred forces to be reckoned with. Sure sucks that joy and sorrow seem to be companions. Most try their best. All impact. ♥️

this is fine but it's not as great as the band with Fred Maher and no keyboards that Lou had right before this one

I'm a Lou Reed fan, but he certainly wasn't a feminist, and he probably did smack a woman around a time or two. Laurie Anderson, I believe she is a feminist. So what does it mean that she chose him to be her husband? I dunno, it's a conundrum.

Her only regret is not being born a man and that's any slight against her womanhood, I believe, but the realization that as a woman she would never be judged as fairly as a man. And I feel she was more than right.

Seen this Tour back in the Day. Robert Quine is amazing Guitarist who was good for Lou. Wish Lou stuck with him longer. Fernando on Bass . Great performance. The Blue Mask still remains one of LOU REED'S BEST. Like a Velvet Record.
