I have up on mountaineering packs weighing over 3kg about 20 years ago. I hated my Faiydiwn Terra Nova 3.4kg mountain pack with a passion. , just too heavy lol. With lightweight and less bulky gear nowadays, you don't need 100l packs unless going up Denali etc. Beautiful pack and design though, just 20 years out of date. Can you do it in DCF at about 1.5 kg? Like the Ferrino Instinct DCF hybrid 65 to 80 l that I bought?

I know this is a good pack, but I gave up on ultra heavy packs like this on my mountaineering trips 20 years ago. You can get great expedition and mountaineering packs now that weigh between 1kg and 1.6kg if built out of DCF or less than 2kg from nylon. Really dated Teck these days

I've had one of those for almost 20 years. A bit heavy but so very comfortable. Finally starting to fail where the hip pads rotate on the main pack, but the canvas is still good as new. Would buy again.
