  If I had to rate all the spades, it'd be this Chinese > Russian > US. The US entrenching tool is weak due to the moving parts. Mine broke in less than a month after heavy use, though they probably weren't meant for that :P. When I was in boy scouts, they gave us the Russian (oh the irony) cold steel entrenching tools which I've had for over 10 years now. The Russian one is solid but simple. To make it even more ironic, BS didn't allow us to have anything dangerous beyond a folding knife but these Russian trench shovels were used to kill people lmao. We stopped playing WWI soldier with these after one almost took off my friend's head. Tried out this Chinese one out of curiosity, didn't have much expectations but ended up being really good. I'd put it as a middle ground between the Russian and US entrenching tool but the fact that it can hold up to the abuse I give the Russian one without exploding in my hands despite it having a swivel point makes me actually impressed. This video, however, is a little overkill on its functionality lmao. I'd never put that thing near my bread or anything else that goes in my mouth. Also, 3:30 is how you die.

  У меня такая: зацепилась блесна на сук диаметром 10см (породы дерева не помню), пока перерубил, сломал рукоять у основания. К самой лопате претензий нет, но рукоять я бы заменил на березовую, китайская крепкая, но ломкая.
